Water bleed, in the bath. In theory you could oil bleed it the same way, but it would mean filling summat up with oil, a waste of oil, and the brake getting covered in oil, which would take ages to clean, and getting hands COVERED in oil. Water bleeds rock, check my sig.

When I ride to work I usually use my ipod. I just make sure to look around more, you can usually see stuff worth avoiding before it happens.

Make one cut right the way through from the outside to the inside. It makes it 1000000000x easier to fit. This would be better than modifying the forks. It makes as good as no difference to the headset, and if it does, a headset, even the crown race alone, is much cheaper to replace than forks.

1) I'm pretty sure those spacers come off with some encouragement 2) One option is to cut a neat slot in the crown race. I do this to all of mine since I got some echo forks, which have a really tight fit for crown races.

Sometimes mine sings to me. It's because there's a tiny bit of pad touching the rim and it makes the rotor vibrate. If I put my wheel in and do it up with the bike the right way up it usually doesn't do it, but if it does, if I give the wheel a tap with my foot it stops. Or, you could set up your brake again, with new pads possibly.

The carbon tubes are supported on the inside and the outside.

Bought some citrus pads, put them on my mate's bike with fresh grinds and they wore down before we even got to a spot.

It's a shame, it could be a good video. As above, post your software. If it doesn't look like that on the workspace then it's probably a codec issue, for which my response is, encode as .mov (quicktime) and use H.264, it's reliable.
