Each to their own, BUT, i think it will be amazing. seriously amazing. cinematography on biketrials has not been better than andy's in my opinion, there are a few folk who are at his level (jonny, and nick g) but other than that i dont think many folk have made a video like andy. i cant wait for it, it does look pretty darn impressive stuff. oh and dave, matt is sponsored by moment designs if i am correct so probably why he will be in the DVD...... ta x

im on echo 07 rim at the moment, and i personally think its a truly amazing rim. by far the strongest ive used. i would seriously consider using on. my list koxx rim dx-32 onza hog onza ronnie echo 05 rim echo cnc rim and i would say that this new echo owns all of them. EDIT: I WOULDNT CLASS MYSELF AS A POWER BEAST EITHER

The aim of a splitter is to create a brake that doesnt have a slave piston. Basically both pads hit at the same time. It wont affect the feel of the brake. Just how much power it should have. To have a good brake, both pads should hit at the same time, bleed should be good with NO AIR and the pads should be set up parallel ( i say parallel because some rims have angle braking surface) to the rim, this will make your brake feel solid. i dont thing people understand what the splitter is for so thought i would inform you. Well inform you of my opinion on what it does.

I stopped reading MBUK forking ages ago. when im in asda ill take a skank to see hip-hop but thats it. Now i dont know if that is just me, but MBUK are not exactly the most HONEST of folk, or if they are they exaggerate beyond belief (from what i remember). Thus giving the impression of fiction. Some of their stuff may be FACT, but not all of it. and thats my opinion. I do agree that we need to get a wider variety of trials articles in MBUK though. For example, we have the same riders all the time. Martyn, Holroyd, Akkers, and a few others that are ALWAYS part of the article. now dont get me wrong they are quality riders, BUT it doesnt show the wider variety of trials riding. eg....boon / judders / 24" riders / danny macaskil for streety stuff but....CLS / TUNNI / Damon for big UCI street riders comp riders RIDING PROPER ROCKS......SAVAGE / WAYNE / DUNCAN SHAW you may say they might not be the most know personalities but they are bigger name riders who will increase the choices of articles. It is always the same stuff in MBUK trials wise, thats the problem at the moment. and without looking at different riders I cant see that changing much in the future. It only takes a phonecall from MBUK and possibly travelling further than south of england to meet some riders.

do yuo judge quality on mass production because it seems like some people do? deng makes alot of bikes but they sell?! why? because people like to be different. when there was little choice on the market people complained, now there is shitloads of choice people complain?! where is the sense in that. what deng does is good for trials, and many of the components are good. He is being innovative and bring more ideas to the tabel (116mm stock dropouts, external BB's, extreme geometries) so where is the problem with this? some poeple dont want to ride the same geometry whatever bike they ride, some like to try a different thing each time they change frame. and if it wasnt for koxx or deng then this choice probably wouldnt be available and many of the riders you see today wouldnt be riding. SIMPLE AS. IM SICK OF FOLK DISSING DENG BECAUSE HE ACTS LIKE A BUSINESS. HE IS IN IT FOR MONEY AS WELL AS HIS LOVE OF TRIALS. YOU DONT GET ANYWHERE IN BUSINESS (OR MAKE A LIVING) WITHOUT EARNING MONEY, WHICH DENG IS OUT TO DO. WILL EVERYONE GET OFF THE f**kING 'I HATE DENG BECAUSE OF THIS THIS THIS' BANDWAGON. i think a possible reason for this is weight : strength ratio. in most frame cases they are strong enough. especially U6 aluminium. its fairly light but has superb strength IMO. more material means more weight (generally). and we dont need the extra strength in the places you have mentioned
