To add to this thread does anyone know a website that gives you the details of hubs and rims so I can use http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/ . I want to build a Front wheel, deore HB-M510 hub to a mavic 217 rim 3x. Thanks for any info.

I think its more about what inspired you to ride trials. When I started I watched riders like Ryan Leech and Jeff Lenosky who tend to do the more "creative" riding. After seeing that I wanted to ride in a similar way.
