  1. Those bikes you've both just named are all mad like you said. Ever though of having a smaller bike and actually being able to use it on the roads? My Dads ridden/owned every type of bike there is and he truely believes that a smaller bike is more fun because you can really thrash them where ever you go. I'm not talking 125's and shit but like 30bhp-50bhp. Seriously boys just research a Suzuki Goose, I'm finding it so much fun to ride. It'll probably do 100mph and you can lean it over as far as you like. I bet when I've got it properly sorted and got used to it I could keep up with the 600's on the twisty roads round here. Edit: here is mine.
  2. Haha yeah I think I've heard of them. I'll stick with my Goose though, I'm enjoying very much a bike with brakes that work, power and decent suspension, just awesome in every way. What you need is a Goose, I'll let you have a go on mine when its had a few more jobs done to make it nicer. Yeah it is, I can't ride it anymore because the b*****d insurance men won't let me have a multi-bike policy yet.
  3. I didn't buy one my brother (Muel) gave me one haha. Probably the shittest, most dangerous bike I'll ever ride but I had alot of fun on it, surprising how quick it will go through the corners on twisty roads. My brother couldn't keep up on his big, "modern" 50BHP Honda 500 so it can't be that bad.
  4. How about, "I'm a little deaf but I still know which bits go where".
  5. It worked out best to cancel my MZ policy and start a new one for the Goose, with all the fees and refunds included I paid £225 for 12 months on the Goose. Just got a phone call and its passed! Going to pick it up now!
  6. My Dad's just taken my Goose for its MOT! Fingers crossed it will pass! Its bloody loud though... On the phone to the insurance man now and because I'm canceling my current policy and starting a new one they're knocking over £70 off my new price! Was not expecting that!
  7. One of my mates is coming with us and bringing his jump bike, should be a laugh. Just try not to smash ourselves up on the first day.
  8. Yeah Dans right on that one. I personally have never used whatsapp to talk to a girl but I have used iMessage alot and its very different to texting. I think you get much better interaction and you can see when they're typing.
  9. Went and got my new bike on Sunday (Suzuki Goose) from Glasgow, 12 round trip... The drive couldn't of gone any better to be honest. Got it ready for its MOT last night, again, that couldn't of gone any smoother. Booked the MOT for tomorrow at 9AM, now just to sort the insurance out!
  10. 45mm off each end? How wide are they now?
  11. There's 10 of us up to now, maximum is 10
  12. So, I've never felt the privilege to post in here because of my dog of a motorbike (MZ 125) but now I've just bought a Suzuki Goose! Don't know when I'm going to go and get it nor how I'm going to get it home, 250 miles each way!
  13. Some of these replies are amazing. Bend it straight?! Are you mad bro?!
  14. Yeah I've had the problem before using the same +20mm adaptors, they can sometimes set the caliper out of line. If you have a spare 180mm rotor try that and see if the problem still occurs.
  15. We see one of the 'mechanics' who works there when out riding sometimes, thinks he's some sort of engineering god. Oh and apparently everything that Hope makes is utter shite...
  16. He shaved his head to tell the pretty boys to put their thing in his bum.
  17. That where I'm at with my MZ, its shite and knackered but I just don't care, its so much fun!
  18. Yeah its kinda a good thing, then its like an upgrade! Haha
  19. Called shotgun on the wrong one though!
  20. Yeah I'm thinking more and more about it since you lads have said to do so haha. Haha anything Ti will come later on, I'm not that bothered about weight. Haha only joking Georgey boy yeah we'll see, wasn't really sure how the stem would turn out. Really really happy with the brakes though, they came out really good because they didn't need stripping before hand as they were silver.
  21. Get a hair cut. Never! I think it'll look better built up.
