Cheers! Is the brake new? My front is new and I threw a small glass of water over it & dragged it. It was bedded in properly in less than 2 minutes. The rear wasn't as good though, I had dirt cheap nukeproof pads on it. Massive step down from the standard pads.

Cheers! I bought a clarks adaptor from CRC, this one http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=69496 My rotors are both 203mm. What adaptor are you using? Who welded your tab on? As you can see on the 1st page the 203 rear adaptor is a big one!

Of the slick type I've only used holy and the rt, I didn't like the rt, the holy felt a little bit more bouncy, the rt felt very flat/dead, like a bmx tyre (maybe you're after that, but I wasn't) I think the Maxxis knobbly bits are raised slightly more. They're both a bit dangerous on rails and need a higher pressure. Diggers are pretty bad for park, they're really grippy on street and ok on rails but wear fast on street & are not very pinch proof so pump hard or use a big tube.

It certainly was. I went Corby in October...that was my last ride. Haven't really fancied the weather since.
-
It's a couple of shades out but good enough. Rover Tara green. New pics on front page.
-
Cheers! It's very long! They both are actually. That's as far as that lever will go. I custom bend all my lever blades out lol. But I can't bring myself to do the Saints.
-
Well, I think it was contaminated anyway. I'm disappointed I was stupid enough to do this.
-
Spun my back wheel as fast as I could earlier to clean the disc, had no cloth to use so just gently pressed my pinky against the rotor. Rotor sucked my finger in & jammed it between the rotor & caliper, a fair amount of blood and no riding my new bikes. P R I C K

Cheers, seems everyone prefers this to the 24!
-
Cheers! It's not as fun as the 24" but I'm still to ride it properly.
-
I wasn't really talking to Flipp, just the whole "rivalry" thing in general whenever a Jaf or Marino thread pops up.
-
Everybody Jaf makes frames, Marino makes frames. The end.
-
Yeah I'm just not sure I like white that much unless everything's white, probably gonna do the forks black & get a black seat. Changed the rotor & ther brake works though! So that can stay for now.
-
I don't like the white forks but I'm too lazy to spray them. Otherwise everything seems good except the disappointing front brake.
-
Well, that's kinda the whole point of every bike I've ever owned.

Cheers! That Syncros 90 x 17 and a 5mm spacer is off, and a 90 x 25 is on, feels a bit better. Think I'd like higher rise bars though, too used to the 24". It's definitely a neat tidy looking bike, but the 24 is such a machine, all the Saint/gold/pimpery, I love it! Plus the Avid juicy on the Static has to go, after using the Saint it just feels useless.

Cheers! You're part of a trials shop, riding for a trials company...you're forgiven lol. I like to think of his communication style as unorthodox...keeps you on your toes (and hotmail)
-
Thing is I'm not into heavy bars, and I can't see anyone doing custom Alu ones that will be as good as what big companies do.
-
I wanna say you're wrong...but you're not. I'm old school, I go by what was decided 15 odd years ago as the standard, which was misleading, a total height is better yes, but it should have always been like that, but I do 99% of my shopping outside trials shops so their measurements are what I'm used to. A 2" Azonic is much higher than a 2" Easton bar, so every firm is different. On a side note, can anyone make custom bars?
-
However it's measured, I think everyone should just do it the same, apart from Azonics no mtb bar ever had any worthwhile upsweep. Now that trials bars have big upsweep it confuses things a bit. I'd choose big upsweep everytime, I like it, but not if it means 10 degrees of backsweep too. There don't seem to be any bars that have the best of both. I miss my Azonics.
-
A big portion of the TT's rise is due to the upsweep, the tactics don't have too much upsweep so most of the measurement is all rise as you can see. Because TT have a lot of backsweep, you need to have them rolled far forward to make use of the upsweep, which is no good for people who wanna bunnyhop, if they're set pretty straight or back a touch then the backsweep becomes downsweep.
-
Yeah I think Inspired or Tarty (whoever writes the description) uses total rise, which is not that helpful as everyone else in the industry measures differently. Most manufacturers measure something like what Peter said ^^
-
Yeah the tactics are waaay higher, after using them I actually don't like the trialtechs much, too low and too much backsweep (tactics have very little) TT has more upsweep, but the Tactics have much more rise. I'll try get a side by side pic.
