I think he means more that the freehub will fall apart, I wouldn't touch an alloy one for trials. -

BB shell has threads in it, I think it's a normal bb shell. It's just such a tiny frame it makes the hole look bigger. -

I've been asked for & given my final sticker/ paint specifications so it will be over soon. -
Haha, ours was called Beaver because of his front teeth too!

I'm getting 24 & 26. The 26 will just be a Hex with a few mm off each end, the 24 will be a Skye based hybrid, which I think a few people have gone for, I think Mine Ross's and JD's are all very similar. -

The back end has nothing to do with your reach/ being cramped. Because his stays are so short, he can have a more spacious front end for the same given wheelbase. -

I see, I thought looking at your old bike you were going for the usual Fourplay/Skye geo mix again. Will be interesting to see it built up! We should all meet up back in this thread when our bikes are built & share regret over the colours we chose. -

I think you're either gonna need 2 steerer tubes or a mod stem -

I'd love to see your tyre clearance when it's built lol. Is that a 51mm bb rise too?? -

That MIGHT be my 24" on top with no rim brake mounts... -
Me too, but a "Beaver" is a bit more than the funny one, he doesn't even mean to play the part. He's elusive, frequently changes phone numbers and is hard to find, but when he's found everyone has a great time.
-
Then you have no idea how important you are! But good point, is anyone the "Beaver" in their group? You don't have to be chavy, or poor, or an idiot. But the one who's a bit different, the entertainer, the one everyone hopes is riding!
-
Ever used to ride with a strange mysterious character many years ago? Someone who was never really into learning much, and didn't care what bike they had, but rode it anyway? Would come out to ride at 2am with out hesitation? Seemed to have no fixed address? We had one simply known as "Beaver" about 10 years ago. A small chav like creature in appearance, but really a harmless boy in a tracksuit, and he could always be found in the dark corners of town on a brakeless cracked bike, his baby blue Nike TN hate like a shark fin circling the town centre. He had all my cracked "hand me down" parts/frames. Often had no brakes because a cable snapped & he couldn't afford a new one, we used a scaffold pole to snap his cheap bars one day, so his mum would buy him new ones, she said no.....He had a can of beer once, was sick, lost control of his bike & fell off the loading bay. He was pretty much an idiot, but had me in tears and made every ride twice as enjoyable. I miss those days & I don't think anyone will take his place. I have no idea where he is now, probably a crack den in a Kappa tracksuit, but wherever you are Beaver, I salute you. I made a small clip of some of his greatest hits a few years ago. If you ever had a "Beaver" then share your story.

Lol, I asked Andre C. Google's useless, unless you know the language, in which case you won't need google. -

I hate it when that happens. -
There MUST be a weight limit for those cranks, I thought the older ones were bad!
-
The interest alone is supposed to average over £30k a year, you'd be an idiot to spend a big chunk of the £1 million with over £2k in interest every month. £35k a year for doing nothing, I'd take the risk! If you were already gonna die young, you'd never know anyway. And if my life is cut from 90 years to 85 for £1mill, I really wouldn't give a shit lol.
-
Dishing is what Luke said, not sure there's a technical term for removing an egg/ flat spot, truing is straightening a buckled wheel. But dishing is getting the rim central to the hub.
-
If you want to dish it to the right, you tighten the right side spokes an equal amount on each spoke until the distance is covered. If the right side spokes were already really tight to start you can get the same result by loosening the left, as long as they're tight enough to begin with. do half a turn at a time, doesn't take much.
