  1. He IS a good rider, has some serious skills, I can see that. But tights under shorts, WHY?????? I've never heard the reasons explained so I'm curious
  2. Him & his brother are great riders with all the big moves. But I think their vids have a pretty predictable formula now. 1 minute of sponsor logos & random panning shots. Footjam whips Crank flips X ups Few G turns Lots of dramatic pauses, slow motion & clips of them looking deep in thought. Then another minute of sponsor logos.
  3. Upside down handle bars, wearing tights underneath shorts....in public.... I love this video.
  4. Eclat complex seats look waaaaay better than pivotals. That tensioner situation is pretty painful to look at. Nice bike otherwise though.
  5. Lite guys were light, so were fly guys, but I wouldn't trust them to prop open the boot of my car.
  6. With onza forks I think you choose either strong or light, you can't have both.
  7. I've had a couple of pairs, never went bigger than a 30mm rim but I think you might struggle with today's chunky pads on a 38mm rim, I'd say it probably won't work. They're definitely strong. They're really short though, only 395mm.
  8. Not been there in a while then? It's over the back at the dirt jumps.
  9. Yeah I had no idea the foam pit would be this big, means I don't have to drive 2 hours to Corby anymore!
  10. I was there last Sat, looks like the run in will come down off the top corner of the dirt jumps and they're gonna need a take off of at least 5 or 6 ft to get you up & into the foam. I don't know what the take off will be made of, but from the rim/lip to the floor looks about 7ft. Gonna be a bitch to climb out of!
  11. I wouldn't recommend a trials gear for the foam pit, it's huge!
  12. Yeah the Diabolus look brilliant but they need re designing, I haven't used my Saints much but I can't fault either of them.
  13. I've got the raceface gold dh x type bb on both my bikes, both with Saint cranks. I was told that the raceface DH BB's are a bit better than the saint ones so I got them. The Saint cranks seem a much better system than the Raceface Diabolus etc (they have no pinch bolts and I've read about them coming loose and falling off) I've also read about the Diabolus pedal threads coming out.
  14. I like it, I like his style. Bit too much scenery, and the laying in bed footage just seems like pointless filler. But the riding & editing was cool, has some Ryan Leech about him.

    Inspired Skye

Your bars seem to have slipped forward accidentally, I trust you've addressed the issue now.

    RadFest ?

I was at Barrow today, and the foam pit is gonna be massive!!!
  17. I bult my 1st wheel when I was 13, used spokes and a used rim, I didn't have a spoke key so I used wire strippers on the nipples. It came out perfectly, I was well impressed. Just look at built wheels and copy them, just do it slowly & practice on a wheel you don't care about. It'll save you a lot of time & money in the long run if you can do it yourself.
  18. I just use the cheap Clarks 203 adaptors on CRC (my rotors are 203), same thing but half the price. I think most trials frames are +20, I'm not 100% on it all myself so get someone to confirm that. Doesn't need to be Shimano though, any will do.
  19. Probably part of the back injury by the looks of it! Is it on telly or net only?
  20. It's about a cheap bike with an Inspired sticker on it.
  21. Are his tights not as cool as your tights?
  22. On a 2011 Magura, a 4 finger lever will give you levels of sponge & flex that the 2 finger just can't match. They're crap brakes, sorry, but I found the 2 finger levers the lesser of two turds.
  23. ^^ I think with a bb that high you're into mod stem territory, depends how tall you are too, Luke's got a huge stem on his but he's about 8ft 5"

    MARINO CHAOS

Wipe the inside of the caliper behind the pads etc so when your brake does get wet there's no oil & shit for the water to spread.
