  1. Suppose, but they'll soon realise it's harder than taking instagram pictures & give up.
  2. Trials is too hard, people with a hipster attitude to it would soon get bored. It's a big financial commitment (the bike) to just sit about on, compared to buying a skateboard or a low cut vest.
  3. The man is talking bollocks. Overkill for a day to day mountain bike maybe, but I don't think your forks are worried.
  4. Yeah I didn't have a spoke key either! I gripped the nipples with wire strippers (ruining them) lol.
  5. I built my 1st wheel when I was 13, I used a brand new Mavic 121 ceramic (best rim on earth in 1997) a Shimano Acera - x hub and shitty old spokes. The build was PERFECT, and I used it until the hub imploded a few days later. It's not hard if you have any kind of mechanical mind.
  6. & There's a reason Kenny is sponsored by Red Bull!
  7. Bikes always look better when you buy proper cranks, black spokes, your favourite stem/rims etc, instead of a bargain bucket of Deng.
  8. I think I read on here that they are, or definitely can be.
  9. I did think that might be the case. And your opinion of Fedor? (I love him)
  10. On the subject of Russia, what do Aleksander Emelianenko's tattoos mean?
  11. Best looking Hex ever. ONLY the silver rear braking surface holds it back.
  12. It IS a really bad tgs video lol.
  13. I think he just takes the sport a bit too seriously, you don't have to come across so miserable to be a good rider, he never looks like he enjoys riding & that shows in his videos, if you can call them that. When people ask what I do, I will NEVER send them a link of a Gilles video, it'd be embarassing.
  14. Thing is...he released that on his OWN youtube channel. He gave that the "all clear"...
  15. The point is that the video is crap. Most people made better looking videos 10 years ago with the video button on their 3mp camera.
  16. I'll happily regularly update the thread, but Peter knows more than me so my input at this point is limited. My 26" was the lone final frame out of heat treating and is now painted or being painted. So everyone else is ahead. It's been 2 years since I got a parcel from him but a parcel force sticker rings a bell, if anyone wants to check tracking numbers. I also remember express postage taking 11 or 12 days. But don't quote me on that.
  17. It's almost at that point, and I'm sure it'd be better for your wrists that way too.
  18. It's even happened local to me. Maybe they can sidehop an extra 2.3mm, but they can no longer manual, bunnyhop up a curb, do anything above 4mph, use any kind of kicker. Not to mention the cool body posture. Fair trade...
  19. I think 1 or 2 top riders choose it, so the rest of the world follows.
  20. Fair enough. Is there a warranty on them? I've got them for both bikes, but if they're good enough for Danny Mac....
  21. f**k, what did he do to do that?
  22. Nothing to do with street riders, it was unwatchable cctv footage of a bloke on a pogo stick.
  23. Anyone who finds pulling a Magura lever hard work should probably be playing chess not riding trials lol. Why? Engineering wise I agree they're not ideal, the booster could look better, but I had evo 2 mounts on my last 26 for about 2 years and they gave me zero problems, much better than the original evo. Plus they're meant for mountain bikes, not trials bikes with 40 odd mm rims.
