BUT....the huge bikes of today are just used as pogo sticks and the streety ones are shorter than the Pashley, I'm assuming he's gonna be doing a bit of everything on this bike & not just sidehops. A mate of mine back in the day used a 70mm stem on his & it felt fine, he's 5ft 10" ish & I'm 6ft. It's got a pretty long top tube and steep head angle so short stems are fine. With a 100mm+ it's not gonna wanna bunnyhop or manual very well, and even set up with a big stem it's not like the bike's ever gonne be an efficient pogo stick, so spin & flick it like it was built to do

You'll get the best out of that frame by having something like that. Short & low ish stem, risers around 2-2.5". At the end of the day, it's an old school -10 bb street trials frame, not a +20 bb Inspired Hex. Plus if you start sticking 25 degree stems on it it'll look effing stupid, your low bb doesn't require a high front end. It'll put your weight in the wrong place & ride like crap.
-
I think you'll find it does matter! lol. Same problem Ben Rowlands has getting his front end sorted, that kind of height makes a huge difference. It's like someone of 5ft 6" getting on my bike. For anyone of average height I don't think you should go longer than 90mm on a 26MHZ, the top tubes aren't that short, that big 110mm stem is just compensating for your extra long arms, where it's just leaning further forward to reach the bars for the rest of us. Look up what Matt & Ed tongue used to use.
-
Actually the GHZ is much shorter than your MHZ. 1015 vs 1040, same head angle, same bb height, GHZ back end's a good 10mm+ shorter. I had those Octane one bars, didn't like the upsweep (hardly any)
-
Stem's fine, don't stack it any higher either. But the bars could be a bit higher rise, 50mm was the norm back then.

They're loooooooong gone, Kujo & El gato took over before 2000. IRC Trailbears of today use the same tread, but the tyre is crap. Kujo was the best for punctures, then Missiles, then the El gato with paper sidewalls.

I liked that, nice old school feel.

I used an fr5 for a bit on a V and a BB7 and it was horrible, it's as if it doesn't pull as much cable an an SD, it's more simple and has no features really. But to me it felt very cheap, pay the extra & get a good lever.

Another cinematic masterpiece that will be talked about for generations to come.

Tyre clearance could be tight!

England's generally a shit place to live. It's a bit different if you have a well paid permanent job, or your own successful business. But everything's a rip off, and the weather is shit.

I are disappoint by your choice of bash (get some proper rims too) but it looks good! Looks mean.

I have vertical dropouts because I use 2 sprockets and switch between them using the tensioner, can't be done on horizontal without adding lots of length to the back end. Probably doesn't apply to a bike like that, but it's A reason

Pan to the floor made me laugh, cos it's true!

I think Frika's faceplant was in some sort of film, I'm pretty sure him & Dave Dennis got quite a nice amount each.

They were weak and vulnerable enough with a 2 finger, 4 finger probably wasn't for me. A bent out '04 was much less hassle. It's just the pivot point and the direction it sends the blade, Avid got it right with the Juicy, they're not pretty but they feel right.
-
They really don't cater for long fingers do they? I've needed to bend the blade on pretty much every lever I've had in trials, 05's more than any, and these are the same shape. Not a fan of the pivot point either, or the way levers like this sweep in when you pull them instead of down like an '04. Still, can't be worse than the 2011.

Yeah he paid me £100 for it, I'm trying to sell him the stairs one too, was way more painful lol.

Cheers! Best way to negotiate a rail. Yeah I did see that clip actually! He bought that off me. I think he should have bought this one instead...
-
There was in one clip actually Thanks for the comments!

Thanks Had some fun making it!

Haha! I rarely do a real life LOL at the computer, but I just did. Well played.

Cheers! Tis here

Got 30 seconds to waste? Forgot I had these so they might as well go somewhere. The last drop was horrible, I pinched & burst my tube as soon as I landed & the bouncy metal threw me all over the place.

I don't really see it getting bigger than it is already.
