Just had a quick roll around and bedded the Saints in, all I can say is f**k. Believe the hype! The front is brand new & it's almost too much with the 203 rotor, in a good way, the rear is 2nd hand and needs a slight bleed, it also has cheap pads so I'll sort that later. but it's not far off. The set up in the pics seems perfect, bar height etc. I'm struggling to set the 26" up though, any ideas? I want maximum easy pulling up, but don't want it too cramped, it's 1025, +20, 378, 73, and I'm 6ft. It's got Trialtech hi rise bars but I've got quite a few stems I can swap around. I've never had a 26" that has a bb any higher than -5mm bb...

Cheers! I'll film as soon as I'm rehabilitated, haven't ridden in a while & need to set things up properly, I'm gonna ache bad for weeks. Can't wait though!

Pretty much yeah, about 659 ish, hard to be spot on with the big bulky cranks on.
-
Ta! The green's really nice & metallic, camera does it no justice.

Both frames turned up today, here's the 24". 990wb 74ha 370cs +20bb Cheers to Jonny Jones for the stickers at UBERSticky. Top notch vinyl that sticks to the welds. http://www.facebook.com/#!/UBERSticky Gonna try & match the paint first before I build the 26", I can't live with white forks.

2.025kg = 4.46lbs! I'm pleasantly surprised. My old one was 4.8 and that was more than light enough.
-
I was gonna say that too, it's like a twisted double flip. Barrel rolls are slow, I think you'd need a massive jump to do a double.

You can buy a Hex anytime anywhere, but YOUR Marino is the ONLY one.

Yeah don't listen to the chavs, they see the number 33 and stick with it lol. I had an NSR in 2002 and 2 mates had an RS125 and a Cagiva Mito each, they'd always beat me by a small amount flat out, but they had their engines seize twice each while mine went for 2 years on no maintenance until I sold it on. HONDA!

Saw them up for about £80, think there were only 5 or 6 sets ever made. They'll outlast any of that Deng stuff no problem, they look expensive too, unlike the Deng stuff.
-
They actually don't, you'd have to have some pretty expensive tuning on an RS125 or a Mito to hit 33bhp, that's entry level race bike power. They're "33bhp legal" which most people assume means they're 33bhp, they're not. Even out of an older more powerful Aprilia you're likely to get 27 or 28 if you're lucky, the other bikes like an NSR etc are several BHP less. The last 2 stroke Aprilias put out 24bhp at the crank, so you can call it 20bhp give or take at the wheel. Over 12 years of riding I've learnt to never take anything an Aprilia RS125 owner says seriously

No it's definitely this year, I have a tracking number! But yeah, this is the Marino to beat so far.
-
My bikes are gonna blow your mind! They should be here by November.
-
Racelines? Might as well get some of those lovely yellow Ribo shoes to match them. And some Joe Maher tights while you're at it!
-
Silly grind on both rims? Hopelessly dripping in Deng? Is it a front freewheel? The Carthy bar angle?
-
Extra points for having no shitty bashguard and no angle grinder butchered rims (Yeah I said it Ross)
-
I almost don't believe it until I see the vid.

best one yet. love it! mine should look pretty similar geo wise so I'm happy. how long did postage take? mine were sent Saturday.
-
I think you meant subtle, not supple lol.

Whatever floats your boat!

He was the main man 20 years ago. Shit loads of publicity for GT, before Ashton, Hawyes, Akrigg, Tongue.

This, you're just stalling on the front too long & losing momentum. Everything else looks alright.
