  1. I wouldn't ruin trialtech forks with that sloping crap. Try what you already have at every possible angle before spending money.
  2. I'm not that clued up on hoppy bikes, and I don't know what you want from your bike. But for such a long high stem, why not try rolling the bars back a lot, then go forward 1 or 2mm at a time until it feels right, if it still feels wrong then I personally think you should try a shorter/lower stem, you've already got a hell of a long reach, and 5ft 9 is not that tall so I can't help feeling you're probably stretching yourself out a bit too much, which means you'll never preload & chuck your weight around to your full potential. Also put all your spacers on top of your stem, try that & see how it feels, takes 5 minutes. You'll never find your perfect set up unless you spend a lot of time piss arsing about with bars & stems like I do lol.
  3. Your posture looks uncomfortable, you don't look relaxed on the back wheel, given the high bb etc. Essentially for pogo moves you want your front wheel as close to your hands as possible, a long high stem pushes it further away and lowers your balance point. Depends how you wanna ride & what you want the bike to do. Rolling the bars forward will make it sit on the back wheel easier as you're giving your self even more reach, but it'll steer awfully on 2 wheels, be a pogo stick & everything but static back wheel hops will feel worse. Compromise.
  4. There is nothing cooler than bunnyhopping over a bar, from the ground
  5. I saw your gap topic video & your front looks seriously high, looks like the front wheel's lower than it should be when you're on the back wheel, which will stretch your arms & legs apart & limit you quite a bit. I'm not up on the geo of tgs frames, but have you tried a lower stem?
  6. I think a foam pit's a big health & safety liability for a lot of places, despite it's fluffy look, you can still get hurt in a foam pit even if you feel invincible. I think for next year...Bunny hop contest (from the ground)
  7. Found this too! From "Getta grip" [media=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUfRYommlSA

    Revolution

I have pretty much every song off this and Evolve.
  9. I've still got Sprung 3 on VHS, along with Revolution, Evolve, Tricks & Stunts 1 & 2, Chainspotting, just no video player to play them on......
  10. By todays pure trials standards yes, he's not up there at all, but these days you're pretty much judged by how high you can sidehop/far you can gap, you're never gonna sidehop 50 inches on his bike, nor will you be doing 10 foot static gaps, but his bike allows him to do so much more than inch pinching, but put him on a modern pogo stick & I guarantee he's got the skills to change your mind, he just chooses to do what he does best & show it to people for money, good for him.
  11. Not so much aimed at you, I know you've been around a while, more the "he's crap" stuff, which is a bit sad & surely couldn't come from anyone who was around to buy "Revolution" or "Evolve" I totally agree on his lack of progression though, I'd kill for another "Evolve" but I know it won't happen, but he's made a load of money and I doubt he has regrets. I've always loved watching Lenosky too and glad he kept going, just makes me sad to imagine how good Leech would be now if he still had the drive to really push it.
  12. You Leech doubters must be young, you have no idea of the impact "revolution" and "Evolve" had when they came out (1998) that for me was the very coolest era of trials. Like others here are saying, people watch Ryan ride & see a mountain bike, everyone's ridden a mountain bike so it's not some alienating weird sight, as opposed to a mod rider in a leotard. Plus he's still more technically skilled than a lot of todays great riders, even if he's not going as big.
  13. These were never available in light blue. Do you mean the 26Mhz? (Blue or ivory) The 26Ghz was black or Fiesta maroon only.
  14. That's exactly what I referred to it as when I had one lol.
  15. no. my brake was absolutely solid with an 04 lever. and the lever is all that's changed. every new brake I've felt is very flexy at the lever. so it must be that.
  16. It was pretty standard 14 years ago when I learned it lol. I think it's just a forgotten trick to trials riders. My video will be done towards the end of the deadline, probably about 6 weeks away. Not done too much yet, just trying to stay injury free, filming this week, saving the big stuff til last, because it could hurt!
  17. Ah it's barely a warm up move lol Just a good camera/ camera man, more on the way this week. Cheers
  18. Soon! Before the end of the GET competition
  19. Radfest inspired me to do some filming today.
