  1. I thought RB were horrible lol, I found the way the RB's bowed out away from you give it a weird feel, and if I remember, the blade wasn't very rounded/comfy. I think the late 04 blades were a bit rounder than the cnc ones, but these look way nicer. Ever used one of these? THAT is a blade
  2. Me? Na I've had mine at least 7-8 years. They've seen many lever bodies.
  3. I have these on both my bikes, they are the best blade magura ever made.
  4. Ali's riding makes me cry... ....Tears of joy.
  5. I would defintely not use lithium on the plastic Magura piston, it's way too thick, you need an oil not a grease.
  6. I would have a LOT of fun there.
  7. I find WD40 works slightly better.
  8. I've had the Ocatne one chemical bars, and while they have more rise than trialtechs, they don't have the upsweep and feel crap in comparison. Very stiff like the trialtechs (not a fan of that) These days only trials bars have upsweep, mtb bars have gone the other way. To me I'd sacrifice a bit of rise to gain more upsweep, then again it's all personal preference. To me, trialtech hi rise feel better than anything else out there.
  9. With work, injuries, failing computers, crap weather, ideas to think of, I'd rather have a bit longer & put a great video out there than rush it & release a piece of crap.
  10. Oh cool, movie maker suddenly "cannot open" anymore. Is this extension official? Because I have pretty much no hope for August.

    2011 Hs33 Flex

Bought a full brake, sold it a week later, it was perfectly bled, it was a new 2 finger HS33, and it was awful. The same as every other 2011 brake I've felt (Yes even Joe Maher's, they felt horrible to me) The 04 HS33 it replaced was solid, it had a proper firm biting point and it ended there, with the 2011 you can vaguely feel when the pads meet, followed by another load of sponge. If the new ones are "too powerful" then I'd like less power, I didn't hear any complaints from previous models. But I think the issue is more with what the lever is made from, it's just not good enough to please everyone on a trials bike.
  12. I rode Sam Nichols one at the weekend, and they are amazing, so effing stiff, well balanced, responsive. For the proper streety stuff it puts a fourplay to shame. If only they were a couple of grand cheaper...

    Zoo! Video 41

    Needs more gaps...
  14. I'll be honest, the weather's crap, and this deadline's creeping up really fast!
  15. Cheers! Unfortunately it was filmed with a goat, so I'll get it filmed properly soon, without Joe's pelican noises.
  16. cheers! the one with the generous breasts? I'll try and find it.
  17. 1 month riding...then a Skye eh? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  18. Na just gotta squeeze the brake hard, as all your weight is on your forward foot & trying to spin the wheel, kills any hope of a smooth drop too lol.
  19. I'm quite happy with this today [media=] Excuse the landing, I landed with my toes on the pedal....
  20. Little move from today. [media=] Excuse the bang, I landed with my toes just about on the pedal...
  21. Lol, it's been a while, suppose I have a year to practice!
  22. I have a similar pic somewhere on my 1998 Kona Cindercone, but that was a good 6" smaller than your zaskar lol.
  23. See you there in a year! Drop comp? lol.
  24. I think it's your posture that's wrong, you genuinely don't look comfortable on the back wheel and a higher front is not gonna help. Maybe it's because of your arm injury but higher bars is gonna make things harder, they're more than high enough. The pics are of a pro who is at home on the back wheel. The 3rd pic is of a sidehop so posture's irrelevant to your gap situation, and the other one is a different point of preload to your pic so it's not much use comparing the pics. I guess is you really want higher bars then go for it.
