  1. The front end is........different!
  2. I quite like that, how different is it from the red one?
  3. One of my Ibanez threesome, RG7321 with EMG 81-7 active pick ups
  4. Fill the outers with gt85, then cover the inners in gt85, pull lever, smile for several seconds.
  5. Can't see the pics, but "rape matress"...haha!
  6. I'd love to ride another one if they weren't so weak, I got mine 8 years ago brand new at a bargain price. I cracked it in 2 places after 6 weeks & dented the downtube so badly I didn't trust it anymore.
  7. As the weather's been pathetic for ages, I can't ride / film anything, so here are 2 new pics as I'm bored. I'll probably use both for the vid. Mainly 24".
  8. I know someone who uses them smooth and his are fine, I just need to know the best way to get this unwanted crap off it. Meths then?
  9. I haven't had a grind in 14 years, somehow I don't think an angle grinder is the best way to clean a rim.
  10. Don't think I have any meths at the mo, white spirit a no go? It's always worked in the past but I have a bad feeling. I used a very mild brilloa pad, did nothing, I really wanna try anything I can before scratching it up with emery etc. Would the talcum powder have this much effect?
  11. Right, you know the rims, came on the old fourplays from tarty. I got 1 today and it's as if the last owner's had it f**king waxed or something, I washed it all with soapy water, let it dry, took my pads out, roughed them up on a brick, and I still can't even get tar to stick to the rim. I DID talcum powder my tube up before hand & some did get on the rim, but this should be long gone after 2 washes. Obviously I have smooth rims and I've never had a problem before, the little machined ridges on the suraface are much finer than any rim I've had before so maybe that's not helping, but I know people use these rims un-ground no problem, so what's on my rim & how can I get it off? Ta.
  12. No pics, my bikes are super old school so they're fine, but the boosters are OLD school, they only have 80 odd mm bolt to bolt. Tyre clearance is crap too, and I use a D521...
  13. I have 2, and they ain't gonna fit any modern trials frame! What frame you got? They absolutely will not fit a modern 4bolt frame. Sorry to crush your dreams.

    What's This Worth?

you reckon? That's not bad actually. Splitting really is just too much post office for me.

Seriously, the only reason people will notice you is by thinking "I wish that C*** would shut his f**king brake up" I cringe everytime mine squeal.

    V Brake Lugs

They're a weird American thread (Cannondale being American) I might have a pair spare, I'll look in a bit.

2010.....is that the original one that's 1035wb with a 35mm bb rise? I've ridden a few of those and I hated them, just too long & high for their intended use. The newer one seems a bit better, but I haven't ridden on to comment.

Thanks. Yeah I know most people don't understand the geo, especially young riders who grew up on echo's and think 1050 wb is a short bike lol. But a lot of young riders missed the sport 10 years ago when bikes were all short, it was about fun and incorporating all kinds of riding, and not riding a purpose built pogo stick and practising the same 3 moves. But it works for me, I just hate long bikes!!!

Argue all you like, they're free bumps But yeah, basically what Aener said, I've been riding since 1997 which I'm guessing is longer than about 97% of this forum & I've never really worn a lid & I won't in my next vid either, it's just my choice, there are bmxers out there doing frontflips/backflips over concrete with no lid, what I do is pretty minor compared to them. That bail at the end is probably the worst bail I've ever had. but I knew how to react, keep head up, put a hand down, just came naturally. I know that won't work on every bail but I've been riding 13 years, never broke a bone, never had a concussion, worst I've had is twisted ankles & what you see in the vid. Cheers all!
