995wb 70 deg h/a 375 stays +10bb Save up & get one!
-
Lol, cheers people. Rhythm, It is double butted 4130 cro mo, weighs 4.7 lb. Davey, you pretty much have to have a bb rise on a 24, like a mod or bmx due to how low you'd be, but my +10 bb here is still the equivalent of a bb drop on a 26 Means I don't need a stupid amount of stackers too. Jonny, put it away!

Ta! No it's just fourplay's I don't get on with, too modern/high/long, this is way shorter & slacker than even the new fourplays. I only like old school 26", and 24" never had an old school phase. Smaller wheels means more strength, less weight, more flicky & responsive, sounds good to me!
-
Cheers, I could sense this coming lol, it's +10 & 70, the usual
-
Cheers, I might get a proper seat, anyone wanna sell me an eclat style all in one?
-
Mr Marino was kind enough to build me a 24" version of my 26", it's obviously still waiting for the tensioner (in the post) and a front brake (offers?) So I've only had a brief roll around the kitchen with a saggy chain. Geo is excellent, and spec is superb incase you were wondering.

I don't think it's regulated at all, any old willy can sign up, scam & generally be a nob, so they do.
-
I find pinkbike soul destroying, it's good for pics & vids but I don't talk to anyone on there, I think there's alot of dicks on there, but it's a general 2 wheeled forum with alot more members, so a much worse decent person/willy ratio than here. It's a like an entire forum of new members chat, the type that will never get validated.

Lucky b*****d But you have a mk5 there! Personally I think they were the best ones, wasn't a fan of the mk6 (had a long weird looking gusset)
-
With a protractor.

Cheeeers again! Leon
-
There's plenty when the shops are shut, but at the mo that means it's all in the dark, and cold.
-
The wallride is the bottom entrance of a multi storey car park, eastgate centre Basildon, back rail is a little skate park behind Gloucester park swimming pool Basildon, and the red bricked bowl car park is Trafford house, behind Basildon train station.

Cheers everyone, Lol Ross it's true! Yea I'll be out soon, when I stop stripping stem threads....
-
Cheers Geo is pure me & no one else will like it... wb 1015 70 deg h/a 385mm stays bb drop is about 3mm with inspired forks (they're a fair bit longer than what I was using before) It was about -8mm with pashley forks.
-
Ha, thanks! The avatar is causing confusion on msn too...

It has come to my attention that everyone here my age is a lazy b*****d, I intend to ride more than once a year and I haven't done southend in years. Nothing huge, I have a new disc brake, it's taking it's time bedding in, but I need to ride. Ideas?
-
^^ I can't believe people bitch over a 900g fork lol.
-
And then the bb is above both feet, similar to having badly bent cranks, nice lol.
-
They're TOO short! But yea, What he said ^ it's on the tarty site too, they got the dimensions for all the forks they sell.
-
I am very old school yea, and just don't feel convinced by anything that's been released post-zebdi. Rode a couple of fourplays and hated them both. I do know what you mean about the reach but I just don't like being sat that high on a bike & feel it goes against the way I ride, I don't do any tgs & I can't remember the last time I did a sidehop, so my bike is 90% biased towards being short & compact. 2 Marino frames ago I had a zero bb and 1025 wb, which is pretty modern for me, and again I just hated it, got the geo wrong and got rid of it, my feet just felt too high and no amount of front end height could counter it, actually felt miserable trying to ride it lol. But 1omm off the bb and 10mm off the front has changed everything. I'm definitely not moving with the times lol but from what I've ridden of the new bikes I just prefer bikes how they were (minus the 6ft chaintays) It appears I owned the correct bikes over the years to keep me thinking this way.
