  1. They're pretty flush yea, the xtr v is probably 1 or 1.5mm infront of the boss at most, magura on the rear is about the same.
  2. Yea I'd never use them on bar/stem/crank stuff, I'm undecided on brake bolts but they look so good!
  3. They're just for the looks, they're 35mm so they go right to the back of the bosses, might even have to file a mm or 2 off. But you reckon they'll be ok yea?
  4. I know they're bad for high stress areas, are m6 alloy bolts suitable hold a v or a magura to v brake bosses? I'm not sure how much of a stress area it is. I have some left over and I'll use them if they're safe but I wanna know how safe I am, i go big, I weigh alot, and i have snatchy, tar influenced brakes. Ta. Leon
  5. Me? lol, I think every big company wants the sport as big as possible so they can cash in as more & more people can see themselves doing it & give it a go.
  6. Ever seen the Hans Rey story? It's why he went from mod to mountain bike in the early nineties, and from lycra to proper clothing, because he just looked weird & it alienated people, people can relate to something alot easier if it looks more "normal" His profile went through the roof because people could relate to what they saw now, a normal looking bloke on a gt mountain bike. Generally people will look at someone on a deformed bmx with a fat back tyre wearing lycra and think jesus what a weirdo and walk the other way, because be honest, no matter how good they are, or how much it benefits the rider, it just looks cringeworthy. I can't see ryan leech/jeff lenosky getting the same treatment.
  7. DRINK KING..."We're going drink king.."
  8. Turned up today love it already, been playing a year now, never had a lesson just been teaching myself, check some vids in my youtube link in my sig Leon
  9. Blue one's my Washburn wg580, grey one's a wg587 - 7 string, got a schecter damien special in the post
  10. And pashleys don't have the little basket mount holes at the bottom under the disc mount, plus the crown bit is slightly diff.
  11. He's right, google identiti's, they're identical i'm looking at my pashleys now. They're identiti tuning forks you got.
  12. Wheelie? What's 1 of those? I'm new to all this motorbicycle lark......
  13. No, and I must say, you should.
  14. Don't use gear inner it'll snap.
  15. It is indeed, was my 3rd srad 750 (and final) The lack of steeering damper proved unhelpful, they didn't get dampers til 98. It was tuned and a bit of an animal, waste of a good engine
  16. Course, that TL1000R is my bike now, just waiting til im hhealthy enough to ride it.
  17. "I was doing 50mph, the speed limit on that road" They were waiting at the hospital for me with a breathalyser, praying for a conviction, they looked disappointed when nothing came up. Also they stopped a local garden centre owner storing the bike for me until I could collect and took it to london, then brought it back the next day and charged me £240, I got £400 for the scrap, useless pricks. Yea I haven't worked since (15 months) but I should be ok in the next 2-3 weeks.
  18. Cheers This happened lol, carried on and hit the curb at alot of speed, both wheels f**ked, swingarm split, nothing apart from the engine/tyres/chain & sprocket was really usable.
  19. Lucky b*****d, which pace forks? I'm after the old rc30's
  20. Custom stickers added, head angle dosn't feel so slack until you try and endo lol. Only thing I may change is forks, for something with less rake, other than that all is well!

A trials game would be so boring it would be unreal, 8-10 years ago in the trialskings era is more realistic with the fast pace but even then I'd pick a bmx game everytime, but not the way trials is now. Suppose you could use the "visit the shop" option to buy an angle grinder, spare echo urbans, pink rims, skinny jeans etc, every 6 hours of gameplay gets you an inch on your sidehops.
  22. Cheers! Yep soon as I'm healthy again and back up to speed I'll start filming, been nearly 2 years
  23. Yea will deffo, you'll know when i'm back out
  24. Forgot about no bottle actually, he's probably been the most active one! Not seen rick in a while. People usually hate riding my fave places, skate park, big stairs, big drops etc. I can't sit at one wall with a tape measure for an hour lol.
