  1. They're not being made but they're still around but you gotta look outside just this forum, i paid £60 this year for an unmarked zebdi, £25 for a mint giant, I see zero's go all the time on ebay, pace leeson and curtis are harder to find. If i can get a curtis I'd sell one of my zebdis Leon
  2. If you wanna ride proper street with no regards to hopping about on the back wheel, 50" sidehops etc then get a short 26" a zebdi, curtis, pace, zero, leeson 26" are all shorter frames than a fourplay with better "bmx'y" feel, the current 24"s are a compromise of both proper street & hoppy crap, so when something's ok at both things, it's not great at either and in my experience the 26" all felt better for how I ride, I can't get on with 24" wheels, never owned one but....I've had a few goes on 2 different inspired's and I thought they were both horrible. A short 26" wont sidehop/ static gap etc so well due to the lack of cockpit space, but a fourplay will not bunnyhop/spin like any of the frames I've listed, Ignore what danny mac's doing because he's just on another level, he could do everything he does on a 26". Just try both and see what works for you. Just don't get sucked into the hype and then realise you don't like it.

Nice to see dave taking the bike out for a walk

    Czar 24"

So if something's crap, it only tarnishes that brand, not any of his other 2 letter word brands.
  5. It does look a little bit too raised but I could maybe file it down, ideally it only needs the tiniest lip sticking up, but as long as it works then that might do the job. The headset's just to nice to throw and I only paid £9 for it so I don't mind buying the right race, but I don't think I'm gonna find it so it'll have to be a close match.
  6. I'll try them ta, tried their distributor yesterday but nothing Could anyone post a clear close pic of the top of a chris king crown race? I've been told they're very similar, cheers Leon
  7. Got a syncros headset that's missing the fok crown race, by the shape of the bearing it needs to be virtually flat with the tiniest 45deg lip resting against the steerer tube, much like a chris king I'm told. I wanna know If anyone would know what race to use. I'd rather not for out for a £14 chris king race if it's not right. The bearing is = Enduro 6806-2RS OSIO http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1864106/ Any help appreciated Leon
  8. It really doesn't work like that, you gotta take into account the upsweep of the bars and the back sweep not just the rise, a big high stem with flat bars will feel different to a medium rise stem with risers, even though they're at the exact same height on the same bike, has an effect on the steering too.
  9. My opinion is those bars are way over the top,get a higher stem and some more down to earth bars, also it's not gonna bunnyhop properly if you keep them leant forward like that. As for the bars slipping in the stem, that's due to the ridiculous rise and all the leverage on them, get some 2" risers with a 15/17 deg stem.
  10. Rear's have a 90deg noodle, front's have 135deg noodle, not that it matters, that's the only difference. Leon
  11. Well it's about 40% heavier than your average trials fork, and it's in the worst place to add that much weight, you'll feel height benefits but there will be big weight penalties too, you'll really feel it with forks.
  12. Anyone found it on a proper site? I hate that f**king vimeo shit, never plays properly Leon
  13. Just a longer fork really, all you can do, it will be slacker but it'll bunny hop easier, i'm surprised it bunnyhops well at that length even with the steep head angle
  14. Not sure on length, probably 410mm ish, but it has a small rake, fatty has a lot of rake which increases wheelbase. Your bb is fine for street riding, bunnyhops, manuals etc (however your long wheelbase will make this alot harder) A longer fork will push the frame up and make the head angle slightly slacker which will make much more difference than 5mm up or down on the bb height.
  15. Well I had the 2002 norco which was 1017 wheelbase....lol, and that visibly had about a 50mm bb drop with a pashley rigid fork. I wouldn't use a carbon fork, onza lite guys are a really nice size fork, you might wanna try a Kona project 2 as well, but fattys are about as short as it gets.
  16. Yea that's one of the later ones, bb drop doesn't look all that to be honest, thought you had an old norco like I had, that was a proper bb drop lol. Just get some longer forks cos fattys are very short, Too short for me to wanna use them. What's the wheelbase?
  17. That's gonna need one hell of a front end boost to gain 30mm at the bb. If you have a norco I assume you didn't buy it to sidehop 50" and do front wheel gaps, it's never intended to be used with a rigid fork so with a small sus for the bb probably is level. It's made for ryan leech to be ridden that way, What norco is it by the way? Post a pic, and what do you ideally want out of a bike? Leon
  18. Fear factory - Zero signal, i'm playing it too

Lol, peoples is a twat. It's the 1st decision I've actually been fuming at, shogun was hands raised all smiles, machida was hands on hips looking at the floor, Too right there's a rematch but like you said Machida gets time to be double prepared now, I don't think anyone should be allowed to leapfrog shogun either. Hopefully rematch for the new years card! Sherdog forum is the same, outrage lol. He may still have the belt but Shogun took his mystique away, he looked totally beatable (actually he was f**king beaten) lol Leon

    Machida/shogun decision was a joke, f**king robbery
  21. It's a norco, it's never gonna have a very high bb, it's made for a sus fork so all you can do is buy a chunky headset, long forks, tyre with a high profile, and not much else.
  22. Von (V Dub) Williams was doing that on a mountain bike years and years ago. Leon
  23. You're pretty limited for canti mount forks today, I'm the same, I'm not interested in using iffy adaptors on deng forks Pretty much... Pashleys, if you can find any Fattys, if you can find any Onza sell brand new v lite guys on ebay for £24.99
