  1. Lol, Well I'll be shit for a couple of weeks at least, plus I don't do wet All the young kids are either tgs or quit at the mo, there's only really me dave & Nick foster that are my age.
  2. Yea I refuse to ride til it feels perfect lol, and I think I'm even tempted to put the old double wall/shorty combo on Sadly I think once again the lite guys are gonna feel the best, shame as they're just too weak lol. Yea I haven't been out riding properly for nearly 18 months but I should be out in 2-3 weeks max now! Can't f**king wait!
  3. The slack head angle's exactly what I wanted and the reason I don't like modern frames, rear tyre is a 2.35 believe it or not, big risers like that feel horrible, 2" is what I've used for 12 years and it's perfect. The bike's already a winner I won't be fit to ride for about 2 weeks yet, final stages though, just waiting for the scab to fall off my back I'll let you know when it does.
  4. Ta, i know what you mean, I also don't like the way 24" frames look too big for the wheels/wheels look to small for the frame. Pashleys feel better than the fattys, yet again. Still experimenting with 2 bars & 11 stems lol.
  5. If you've never ridden an orange zero you won't understand lol. It is a really short reach but I don't care how it feels for hoppy stuff, I'm a street rider so it's all for effortless bunnyhops/manuals etc. Haven't owned a zero in 4-5 years and missed the feel so much, the closest I could get was 1 norco and a load of carefully set up zebdi's. Most people would hate the feel of this bike, but I hate the feel of most bikes Leon
  6. Came today from peru, with a rather nice N dubz style hat. Orange zero geometry but with proper chainstays/tyre clearance Quality seems even better than last time, rear end is perfectly aligned, apparently he has the appropriate equipment now. My only moan is drop outs are still too thin, with a hope skewer you'll use all the thread and then some resulting in about an inch sticking out on the mech side (3rd pic) changed it to a shimano xt now and it's much better, I don't rate hope skewers at all, plus the offset lever on a shimano is perfect for the dropouts marino uses. 69 deg h/a, v bosses, 1030 wb, perfection Custom stickers on the way....
  7. You should get opinions of as many big riders as you can, not just your favourite one, there's probably plenty of riders with better brakes than him and there's some that go just as big.
  8. If he spells it properly it will lol, helicoiled.
  9. what length BB are you using? My rs7's had a 24t ring on a truvativ 118mm isis and that cleared it, not by much, had the 2.7 tyre clearance too.

    Haha

How sad and worthless must people be when the only thing they can upload is their reaction to a f**king video? It's not like he's good looking/ funny/intelligent, so f**k knows why people subscribe to that shit. He's even created his own f**king intro!

    Haha

What's worse is 123,000+ people have watched that willy lol. (I didn't type willy)
  12. Lol, just got an email from the Gmail account, posting today, said he's been non stop making frames. Leon
  13. It's been a day or 13 for me lol, I know he's cool I just need to know he got the money, I hate using these foreign currency money sending systems.
  14. Which addy was it? The Gmail one or the @marinobike one? I've tried both but had nothing back.
  15. Hmmmm, I paid by western union, sent him the mtcn number to collect the money his end, sent a few emails to confirm it but haven't had a reply since 29th
  16. Anyone spoke to marino in the last week or so? My frame's finished & paid for but haven't had a reply since 29th dec. Anyone know if he's having internet problems?

I've had people say "oh my god LOL UR BREAKZ AMASIN" People just need to learn how set up a bloody brake, I've made some dog shit v's work amazingly just by using nice new cables, lube it properly, get the pads aligned perfectly. It's mostly young kids who let things rot, it's not a magura, you need to maintain the cable Almost daily in this weather or it will feel like crap & lose power. I use an xtr front v & lever, it is amazing. I've used an sd7, that was amazing. I've used a 1998 lx with a dia compe dp7 lever, even that was amazing. If you're gonna buy a top brake then set it up like it should be set up. If you want ultimate lock you cant beat smooth rim, bit of tar & a proper solid set up, in my experience grinds are just crap, but that's my opinion, I don't ride in mud/rain.
  18. Think I'll go change my ebay I.D.....lol
  19. Someone who had some renthal motocross bars laying around..
  20. It'll be about 1025, and a zebdi is really not cramped at all considering what they're meant to be used for. zebdi IMO is the best compromise of being managable on the back wheel, and being thoroughly streetable. The head angle is steep enough to give decent space but just slack enough to pull up easily. I never liked fattys on a zebdi, they feel too short, of any fork i've used the onza lite guy feels the best, with 90x10 stem & 2" risers, you can do anything on a zebdi.
  21. I had 1 earlier this year, I'm actually annoyed I sold it now. Rode alot better than i thought it would, If I recall, wheelbase was about 1032 with some giant hawzee forks.
  22. An inspired is longer than any of the 26" frames mentioned, with a steeper head angle so it'll have more room!! In simple terms.....those old skool 26" frames are all more cramped than an inspired. im about 6ft, 6ft 2 is really not that tall, there's much taller people on this forum. The size of the wheels makes no difference to reach/space
  23. Danny mac aint tall. Honestly though, don't pay any attention to danny mac and what he can do, he's pretty much the worlds best street rider and none of us will reach his level. What works for him may be a nightmare for you. To me the whole point of a short bike is that it bunnyhops, 1 of the inspireds i tried was set up identical bar/stem/front end to what all my 26" bikes are, and it didnt wanna bunny hop at all...it was better on the back wheel.....so there's the trade off. Just dont fool yourself and think you'll be doing 4ft bunnyhops
  24. Inspired is 1040, it's still considered short by todays standards, but it's longer than the old school stock frames which were 1015-1025 ish, also it's a noticably more upright head angle, which can make more difference than wheelbase, meaning a longer reach, better for static stuff, worse for bunnyhops & spins. It's basically a happy medium between tgs and street. Never done a tailwhip but I can't see why it'd make any difference, danny mac did them no problem on the old echo? he used to ride which must have been at least 1060wb and had 26" wheels. I don't see the point of having smaller wheels if the bike is longer, the 24uk seems more my thing. Plus every 24" needs 3 feet of stem stackers which looks shit, not to mention every set of forks you use need 200mm ish steerers which is pretty rare in used forks anyway.
