  1. But then I guess that's partly where that £350M per week comes in- that's vaguely what we paid to the EU and overall we still paid £100M per week to the EU so from that 'saved' (lols) money all the farming subsidies can still be paid. Now the funding pots for farmers is obviously something very different and that's one big impact from my perspective- EU funding for research grants at Universities is a fairly big deal and if that were to just go away things could get pretty sticky for more than a few people and that's before you consider the thousands of EU students and researchers who choose to come to the UK who may well now be thinking twice.
  2. I can't believe Jeremy Hunt is considering running for the Conservative leadership. Does he not realise that every commoner with half a braincell would like to smash his face with a shovel and certainly wouldn't choose to spell his surname with an H?
  3. That's the thing- if there had been some thought into it and there was a reasonable case put forward to how we would prosper in the event of leaving the EU then cool beans but as it is now they've got the vote everyone seems to be just standing around looking sheepish while the government, opposition and markets tumble around them. Time for a facepalm and slow clap... Ah but if it's raining outside they're pretty sure to tell you it's raining. With the bottom dropping out of the market since Friday morning I don't think you need any experts to tell you it's a bit shit. There's now a massive shakeup in Westminster which, whether in itself is good or bad, is just going to delay things and make things ten times worse for the foreseeable future.
  4. So it's an outright gamble. Awesome. f**k everything for the next 5-10 years in case maybe after that time things get a little better. Or maybe not. What you say would've made sense if there had been an iota of intelligence put into the campaigns or if there was a shred of evidence to suggest just what could be done moving forward but that's not the case. We just had a bunch of complete f**knuggets spouting lies and bullshit in a successful attempt to make people vote a certain way. When Donald f**king Trump says that Brexit is a great thing you know it's f**king bad news. Edit: And you've also now got a bunch of retard racists across the country telling anyone who looks foreign that they should pack their bags because they're not welcome anymore. Great f**king times ahead.
  5. Can you elaborate on that? What elements of being out of the EU will directly benefit you? Genuinely interested as I've yet to hear anything positive that can come from it.
  6. Love the fact that 'dem immigrants' was a key motivation for a lot of leave voters and the first thing that's going to happen is France is going to tell us to GTFO of Calais and move our border back to this side of the channel. Dover jungle anyone? I'm still of the firm opinion that the majority of leave voters were narrow minded f**kwits who probably read the Sun or whatever shite was spouting propaganda and who now deserve the shit storm that's coming.
  7. At least we now know that 51.9% of people in the UK are officially stupid. Whenever you call someone a moron, idiot or retard you now have a 51.9% chance of being right.
  8. I'm failing to see who a leave result is good for...
  9. The fact that cunt is in the outie camp should be enough for anyone to vote in...
  10. Why is the Leave campaign still spouting the £350M figure that has been shown to be only part of the story? I had a leaflet through the door yesterday that stated that figure at least three times. Also it being stated that this is 'our last chance to leave the EU'... how exactly do they come to that? If things went tits up pretty sure the Government could pull the plug at any time in the future (with or without a referendum).
  11. It still pisses me off that a lot of the 'campaigns' or at least the news about the referendum have just been random celebrities joining sides. 'David Beckham backs Remain'... Who the f**k cares? Why is that news or in any way relevant? It just seems to have been a really poorly executed process on all fronts.
  12. Surprisingly disappointing race to be honest.
  13. Gravity just seems to stop working occasionally for him. Crazy.
  14. To be fair, it was shit and pointless before Clarkson and the rest left... The problem as I see it is that they've removed a lot of the better bits from the old stuff and the stuff they've kept has been screwed up. No news section, the interviews are just a complete clusterf**k of appallingness and then things like the Ken Block section was just pointless. They didn't say anything at all about the car, Ken just cheesy dialogue between the two. I didn't bother watching it on Sunday but did catch up on iPlayer on Monday and it was the best so far but still really cringeworthy in places.
  15. For info this is a push bike trials forum rather than moto but there should be nothing stopping you removing the cover and replacing the gasket- all the springy bits are contained as part of the clutch assembly. Obviously drain the oil first to minimise mess. Also worth checking out why it's leaking in the first place- if it's just an old gasket that's disintegrating then fair enough but if there's corrosion on the engine casing or cover you might want to clean things up a bit before replacing the gasket.
  16. Just watched the 2nd one and it was very nearly as bad as the first in my opinion. Cringeworthy in places, the interview side of things is just shit and random, the Africa trip was pointless and missed out on sections that could've made it remotely interesting and just overall very unimpressed. Most likely won't bother with the next one. The single redeeming feature was Jenson.
  17. I run SLX cranks on my Arcade with a 24T ring and really can't fault them at all, especially for the price! I went from the Hussefelts and the Shimano's just seem far more 'designed' and more refined.
  18. Same as with the Scottish one (which I didn't get to vote in being an adopted southern softie)- the risk of leaving with no clue how things might work out just isn't worth it. Again like the Scotland thing I think we've already got a fairly good deal going and the power to have our cake and still eat at least some of it.
  19. Come on then, someone's got to bring it up... How shite was that first 'new' show then? It just seemed cheesy and lacklustre to me. Even without really having a strong opinion beforehand I'd all but given up after 20 minutes and just had it on in the background while doing other stuff.
  20. I'll give you £50 for it, mush.
  21. I tried masking tape, ABS slurry, Pritt Stick, various temperatures etc. and just couldn't make it work nicely whereas PLA just worked perfectly from the off so haven't bothered with ABS again.
  22. I never managed to get ABS to work on mine. It would always warp even though the printer has a heated buildplate and was just a pain compared to PLA.
  23. Well it depends how you print it. If you printed it as drawn above you'll get a good finish on the external surface but the detail of the number in the hollow could be either a bit rough if not supported or if you use a support system for the overhung elements (and assuming you don't use dissolvable support material on a second extruder) there will be some awkward cleaning up to do around the details in there. If you printed it on its side you should be able to get a good finish on the the majority but would still need some support built in for the overhanging lower side of the part that will need at least a bit of sanding to clean up...
  24. Something worth considering early on is that you might struggle to get a great finish on that sort of design without some 'post processing'...
