I see it the other way (with the same outcome). I think he is a racist, retarded bigot who thinks of nothing but himself and making up completely false drivel. Now that he's somehow won the joke that is the US election system he won't be able to go through with half the shit he's come up with because he has a whole party's worth of politicians who have to agree and support what is best for the country (not just what his peanut brain thinks might be good to tweet). Having said that, they now have the Senate and the Presidency so anything's possible! I think maybe we should stop allowing people to vote for stuff... they really don't seem to be very good at it.

Fuckface Von Clownstick. That is all.

Kodi is in theory a one stop shop for accessing all your music, videos, photos etc. via your computer or TV but those naughty geeks have made add ons that basically make it like Netflix (I think, never used that) but free and maybe a little bit illegal. You can basically stream just about any TV show or movie for free. It's very good...

Kodi all the way...

Lol at Vettel being given a 10 second penalty and dropping to 5th after all his toys being thrown out of the pram. Not really convinced it was warranted but couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

The post arrived today (well it arrived yesterday with Parcel Farce delivering it to a neighbour without bothering to let me know this... checked the tracking this afternoon to see that it had been delivered and thankfully my neighbour came round as I was about to start doing the rounds of the other houses in the road!). Just got it installed and so far it's looking good. Everything feels like good quality and is nice and solid. Easy to set up (hardest part was routing the cable through the rubber grommets in the frame and getting those seated nicely again) and in action feels really smooth with a nice light lever action. Time will tell on reliability but so far so good.

I think a lot of it is down to letting the bike do the work and letting things 'flow'. On a trials bike it tends to be all about the rider forcing the bike to go where you want it but on a BMX the momentum of the bike is king and so it's more about controlling the bike but letting it do it's thing and almost being more relaxed about it.

Fox Flux alternative: £20 Carnac XC
monkeyseemonkeydo replied to monkeyseemonkeydo's topic in Bike Chat
Back up to £59.99 now. -
So I accidentally a Brand X dropper from CRC (currently £109.99). Bit of a punt but I keep on looking at droppers for the Whyte and keep being put off by the stupid prices and fact that the Reverbs appear to have some fairly major flaws. Will have a play with it when it arrives and report back.

Wow. That's was awesome. I actually preferred that to a lot of his trials vids! Blown Ackrigg out the water

My eldest is on a 48 at the moment and I've been really impressed with it. That was after a hotrock 12 that my little one isn't quite big enough for so he's still on a chillafish bmxie that I've also been quite impressed with.

I've had a Fox Flux for a few years now and it's getting a touch tired from the occasional crash, drop and being chucked in the garage etc. I got an email the other day from Planet X who are currently selling their 'Carnac XC' helmets at £20 (http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HECAXC/carnac-xc-mtb-helmet) also the On One XC's for different colours (http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HEOOXC/on-one-xc-mtb-helmet). It looked very similar to the Flux so I gave it a punt and it turned up today. Most of the moulding is virtually identical and you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference if you stuck a Fox sticker on it! Possibly a good option for people who don't like spending £80 on a helmet... Just had a blast round the woods in it and it's just as comfortable and well fitting as the Flux.

I've been running Shimano SLX cranks on my Arcade with an Inspired Bash since the very first Arcade frames came out and have had no problems at all. Unless you're regularly doing 10 foot drops they should stand up just fine and are nice and light to boot.

. Wheel building needs a tl; dr!!

I can never get the spokes right at the valve either. Completely pot luck!

I started on a 16" GT Backwoods in Atomic Rust- still have a soft spot for the proper triple triangle frames! I actually phoned Aire Valley cycles once and asked Chris Ackrigg where he got his bashguards!

Is it possible to set-up a trials bike as a commuting bike?
monkeyseemonkeydo replied to Bstmn's topic in Trials Chat
That wasn't a trials bike in the modern way of things though!! It was an Orange Zero with a 450mm (I think) seatpost and about 5 gears. To be fair it wasn't a very good idea! -
Contact lenses and jam.

First things first... sorry, wrong forum. This is for pushbike trials rather than the motorised kind. Regardless of that there are quite a few helpful people on here who have also dabbled with engines at some point so feel free to stick around! To answer your question I'd say there's no way those two should be touching. A quick Google shows the support arm bolting to the other side of the fork mount: So you may then need to space the arm off the hub slightly so that it clears the brake arm. The other thing to do would be to file/grind some clearance into the support arm so that it no longer fouls. That's what I'd do anyway...

Serves you right, bloody fanboy

But, but...

Anyone know what Jack was wearing round his knee? Doesn't look like any kind of support or placebo tape...

Any Parkruns near you? I was pessimistic before (never done running and didn't want to) but now doing it fairly regularly (usually pushing two boys in a pushchair...) and actually kind of enjoy it. Ought to run more in the week to keep things going but never find the time!

I can't remember the last time he had a bad start. Pretty boring race I thought, very much 'meh'.

Awesome riding! Everything looks so solid and dialled. Some spots bring back memories too!!
