I think it's time to get creative with the swear filter for 'bae' as was done for 'sid', 'and jam', 'ftw' etc.

That's because everyone down there keeps taking up climbing or standing on skipping ropes! -
That's the dude! Thank you I knew it was someone I associated with the South West!

I really thought it was Josh but now can't see anything...! Cheers guys will have a look

Question: Does anyone know who it is who's made a bouldering wall recently? One of my trials contacts on FB has been posting the odd picture of the progress (thought it was Josh Kydd but apparently not) but I can't find it now... any ideas?

You all suck! Just about to chuck my arcade on the roof of the car and had down to Portland. Don't ride nearly as much as I used to (job, wife and two kids will do that I guys) but still enjoy it when I can. To be honest I haven't been on a group ride for a long time and was put off a lot of the local ones by some of the people who were attending who I'm embarrassed to be associated with (or have trials associated with) and I do miss having a laugh with the old boys... -
Which is fine for giggles or a top gear episode but seems odd as a sport. Martyn, Danny and Chris showed that you can ride trials on a road bike but I don't expect the uci to create a new official world championships based on riding sections on road bikes...

I bet he'd be faster/more comfortable on an XC bike though!

As in chainstay length?

I've always seen Supermoto as the opposite of that though- big softly sprung dirtbikes that can hang with the road bikes on the hard stuff but I get your point. To be fair I can imagine that a road rider who also does CX in the off season being in a far better position bike-control wise than someone who's never been on mud. I guess in the same way that MotoGP riders often ride dirt track or MX over the winter.

As mentioned elsewhere on the forum I'm now running 24:17 on my Arcade and it works out right between 22:15 and 22:16 which is just perfect for me. And JE James still have the Raceface 24T rings for £5.49.

Not trolling by the way just genuinely don't understand why we have XC bikes if a CX was better and if an XC bike is better then why does CX exist?!
-
Mainly the too big frame, drop bars, geometry, tyre width, wheel strength, brake/gear position/accessibility and the fact it'd be designed to work off road rather than being (from what I can tell having never ridden a CX bike) a road bike with slightly off road tyres...

Send them the bill for fixing the lock. If they ignore it remove the cost from your next rent payment (assuming you rent). That soon gets their attention. Worked to get my old landlord to sort out the security of our garage!
-
But would you not have been quicker/better off on a lightweight 29er hardtail say? As Mike says it just seems like CX is using the wrong tool for the job...

White stem and black bars would be first choice then black stem and white bars if you must!

What's the wing made of to split like that?
-
Nope and probably won't (even through less legal means). I've probably only actually seen the very first one (i.e. original, original) all the way through and never saw any of the Ewan McGregor trilogy ones at all. Does nothing for me really. John Wick rocks though

Did you see he won the $20,000 GoPro competition with the original one?

Cyclocross actually makes me slightly angry and annoying fixie videos definitely does.
