  1. Scratch my attendance. My idiotic brain thought the 28th was sunday. Working tomorrow unfortunately
  2. Havnt seen that before. Wished it was 10x longer. Love you Rich!
  3. Got a puncture to fix and the bike is a mess (more so I am!) Will head out to see if I can get back into it!
  4. As some of you may or may not know, im going to be competing in the Bontrager 24/12 24hour endurance XC race in the summer. Because of this, I have been training all on my MTB, and the trials bike hasnt seen an outing in a good few months. Will me incorporating the trials into my training programme help me to any extent? If not what sort of cross training may be beneficial to me? Cheers Guys
  5. Are the platforms interchangeable?
  6. A pre 04 pair of (preferably Raceline) HS33's would be beautiful on that.
  7. Superlight XC build. Old school parts if you can (old XTR cranks, skinny tyres, possibly keep the forks, keep vee's).
  8. Carbon? Looks like Carbon rotors too....

    Dh

Totally agree with Ali here. If your going to be sending it huge off some massive drops then 8" of travel is then a good idea. I used to live just down the road from some of the best and hardest (Double Black run rated) DH in the country, and did it all on a hardtail with 140mm of travel. Agree'd it was hard. But it is do-able. It all goes back to if you want a do it all bike (now labelled as an "All-Mountain" bike or a "trail bike") so that you can hit the DH trails on a 5/6" bike and ride it home. Or if your going to drive to the trails, push up, and hammer down them. In which case you want a downhill bike itself.
  10. This first term in uni has been an eye opener. Next year Im going to limit myself to one night a week out (instead of 2-3). Stop spending money on useless shit. Ride more. Get a summer job. And by this time next year have a nice new Moto trials bike as I miss mine so much Get fitter and meet some fit pootang..... Also stop missing lectures, and finish first year with a 2.1 or a first.
  11. A flatter top crown and a direct mount stem, she would be a beauty.
  12. Ive just brought the same as you suggested tomm. Looking forward to bolting it on. I brought it with the intention of if it lasts the winter then its not a bad £35 spent to be honest.

  15. Just realised, im meant to be out on saturday night for a real head masher..... I shall not be alive for this ride..
  16. Any decent set of Boxxer's you can get/afford.
  17. Looks great now! The best upgrade you could do now is the chainset. Go to a Hollowtech Shimano chainset (From £60), probably one of the best upgrades you could make in my opinion. Cant beat an external BB (That is unless your already running one!)
  18. So confused. Two girls, both of which seam dead into me, yet at the same time dont? I dont get it, why such mixed signals? (One is worth a poke, other is worth perhaps more). Might Re-write this when im more sober.
  19. I have no idea about rim widths. But i swear by Rubber Queens (2.2). Even the cheep £15 jobbys
  20. You might be stuck with something like this then clicky
