  2. Closing, this is going nowhere. it's up to tarty.
  3. IPad styling fixed, been annoying me for a while!

  4. I'll put up a donation link once I've sent them, I'm scared that people will donate and I won't manage to post them out by the time I've said, it's been a few months already I have limited car ones, can't remember how many exactly, but should be enough so far. All noted! Quite excited about getting them tomorrow.. I love getting stuff in bulk.
  5. Why not? If people want some opinions on a particular item, then feel free to post - thats (partially) the idea of TF As for forums themselves, the idea is that new topics and information is posted quickly and regularly, outdated information naturally drops onto page two and eventually into the abyss (aka the search system), rather than be used as reference system. You could argue that the forum is already full of the same sort of threads, trials is quite a specific topic! I'd agree with that. The system they have set up seems pretty rock solid, I personally like that the person must buy the product before they can review. Saying that, It shouldn't be that much development effort for them to set up some sort of review moderation system, so the staff can review reviews before they're published. But it still takes time (and money - web developers aren't cheap), either way!
  6. 'Course not mike, I'll add you on They should arrive today at work, but I'm working from home today... Damn. If anyone specifically wants a car type sticker (one of the ones I posted quite a while back) let me know. I think there were only 2 people who mentioned them in the comments on the order sheet thing.
  7. Just deleted someones status by mistake. Didn't see who it was or what it said, but sorry to whoever it was!

You...you devil! It was mine :p not to fussed haha

  8. Haha, Christ that seems like an age ago! I'll make sure yours is the first one to land in the post box, in fact I'll even try and upgrade you to a first class stamp
  9. From what I've gathered over the past few months, any vector based file should be alright. So that's an illustrator .ai file, or a PDF or Svg really. That sign blazer program I assume could convert one of those files (surely your mate doesn't always ask clients to supply a sbd file?) If you have a massive version of your logo you could convert it to a vector using vector magic.com, that's what I've done recently. A smaller image doesn't convert so well, so make it as big as possible so its more accurate once it's been converted and scaled back down to normal size
  10. No can do, got those 'do not bend' envelopes. Fail. I have however printed all the addresses onto sticky paper so that's saved me a good few hours of writing them out, The man says I should get them on Wednesday. If that's the case then I'll try to post out at the end of the week
  11. I guess by warm you mean that you want to go aborad. If not, then west Wales or south west England are good
  12. It's probably that your computer just doesn't have the right codecs to read the hd files. That codec pack should sort it out
  13. If moviemaker can't read your files, try downloading the 'combined community codec pack'. I don't know how movie editing programmes work but it could help.
  14. I've always liked the idea of getting some prawns, crabs and snails in a tank. Not sure if they can live with fish but they look pretty cool, and more interesting to look at IMO!
  15. has she just done so much coke her nose has dissolved?
  16. Yeah. A screwdriver in the opposite end of the headtube to the cup you're hammering out, with the screwdriver blade against the inside lip of the cup. Don't try to prize them out (I'm not sure why anyone would do that but you never know ) My mates dad once made a 'tool' to help get them out without marking the headset. Its basically a big washer (the size of the internal diameter of a headtube), with cut 2 flats into it, allowing it to pass through a headset cup, into the head tube, and rest on the lip of the headset cup. Then get a bit of wood and smash it out from the other end.
  17. Thought about replacing the headset with one with deeper cups? (Not sure if thats the right term, but google understood) http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24983 I suggested this before to someone in the same situation, and I think they had a reason not to do this, but I forgot
  18. I would go with this. Haven't made exactly the same mistakes as this, but similar - and maybe JD is speaking from experience too? Keeping it short, clean and simple seems like a safe bet, and as said a lot of people will probably hear it and you'll have to live with it for a long time!

    Cheeky Mouse

Yeah, it could be.. this one appears distinctively fat and cocky though, I'd be super unlucky to have 2 of them. I guess its not out of the question though. Lol. But... then I'd have a mouse in a cage regardless, I don't want a mouse, wild or otherwise Yeah I've seen those sticky sheets on telly, someone caught a rat on one, then stamped on it. Not sure if I could bring myself to do that

    Cheeky Mouse

There's quite a few holes the mouse can use to get into the ceiling and into rooms. As Muel (was it muel?) said I fear that he'd just make more holes! I was just thinking about those electronic things. I don't have any cats or anything, so I might just get one. Heard mixed reviews but it can't harm I think I'm going to have to do this. The little b*****d came into my room 4 times last night, kept me awake for about 3 hours (it takes me ages to go from 'awake' to 'asleep'). The fourth time I emptied my room of everything apart from my bed - luckily I don't have too much stuff in there anyway. Each time I saw him, he'd run along the skirting board and literally disappear. There was one hole that he could have been using, but i squashed some foil into there after the first time, so god knows where he was going. I swear seeing the same mouse 6 times in as many hours is unusual. Normally you catch a glimpse of one, and that's it.

    Cheeky Mouse

Ah, this is a house in Cardiff. I'm only here 2 days a week and it seems like the mice have taken over while I've been away Tried that, managed to win over one cat who comes into the garden occassionally, but it has no interest in coming into the house. I think you're right. Reading the reviews for this bait, it sounds like its crap. I think I'll get some proper traps.

    Cheeky Mouse

Well I'm worried now that the reason it was so fat is 'cos its full of baby mice. I'm also reading stories that some mice just feed off the bait and it doesn't actually kill them That would be awesome, but I don't know anyone who could lend me one

    Cheeky Mouse

I got woken up last night by what I initially thought was someone trying to break into the house. Natually, like the man I am, I stayed in bed, terrified and attempting to work out how I could barricade myself into my room in the event that they came upstairs. Once I started thinking sensibly I decided it must be a mouse or a rat under the floorboards. It must be making a nest up there or something, the ceiling below is brand new so its not as if there's any food or bits of wood up there for it to get excited about. So a few hours ago I put some mouse bait out which I happened to have under the sink. Up to this point this is the first mouse activity I've witnessed in this house. Just now, sitting in my living room, I caught sight of a fat little mouse from the corner of my eye. He walked around for a bit, jumped up and down for a while trying to get up a door, and finally dissappeared into a cupboard. I emptied the cupboard but he's not there, so I put some bait in the cupboard ready for next time. About 5 minutes later the very same mouse strolls up to the sofa I'm sitting on, literally 30cm from my feet, and goes under the sofa (I lifted it up, but he's gone - again). I get the feeling this cheeky chappy is going to be hard to catch. Anyone got any tips? Now I've got to know the mouse, I feel like maybe mouse poison is a bit harsh.. anyone had any luck with humane traps?
