MRI machines at most now go up to 1.5 ish, there are a fair few experiments right now going on to see how much people can take, but 2.5 and above seems to feck with your balance and make you nauseous, at least thats what the head of the local MRI unit said.

However, magnetism can kill, it's well known that magnetic fields of 2.5 Teslas and above seriously mess with people, echo could be dead, we didn't know all of Libby's back story and she's dead for starters. Also undergorund explosions don't tend to throw rocks and debris everywhere. But I still reckon you're right.
  4. Tricks and Stunts ages ago at a friends house, made me start properly, still love that vid.
  5. Sorry for the bump, but is it worth spending a wee bit extra to get the varible speed grinder or not?
  6. You nasty boys stop spreading rumours about Rob.
  7. Wehey, I get third, well done, keep going at it this way and make us proud.
  8. Not normally a fan, but holy shit that was something else.
  9. Bedding in is the process of your pads wearing to the shape of the rim, and removing the top layer of pad, also sometimes it is heat hardening of the material (mostly only in disc pads), so drag your brake lightly for a little bit, I find using a bit of muc off on rims helps too.
  10. The rule is there to make sure the bike are mountain bikes, not just oversized mods.
  11. You can put the lube on as a short term solution I think, but grease is much better. Well, the equation for torque is: Torque=ForceXRadius. In other words 5=ForceXRadius measure the length of the allen key and calculate the force you need to use. To put it into perpsective under gravity a one kg bag of sugar produces a force of roughly 10 Newtons (9.81....Newtons if we're being pedantic). Radius is measures in metres so if it's a 10 cm alen key: T=Fr 5=FX0.1 F=5/0.1=50Newtons, about the force to lift 5 bags of sugar.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILER!!!! We don't know the answer to either of those questions.
  13. Last day of school was a feww weeks back, the school paid for paintballing and lots of teachers did really badly, wonder why. Then we had a chill session in the cafeteria with shirt signing and speeches, was nice. I can't believe I'm going to miss school.
  14. To fit koxx slim bars in a monty stem you will need shims, but shimming bars is not something I like to do.
  15. You go where your head goes, turn your head and look past your back wheel when jumping, also really twist hard and you'll be round before you know it.
  16. Maybe if you make a clip of you hooking we can help you.
  17. At worst onza will charge you half price for the new bars.
  18. I don't think they're similar, if you send your bars back you'll either get crash replacement or warranty.

I'm gonna be at uni before the new season.
  20. That seriously takes the piss, holes in rims I can handle, but in tyres.
  21. I liked the old non colour coordinated bike.
  22. It has normal 4 bolts on top, in case I ever want to use a shitty magura , and normal vee brake mounts underneath.
  23. The brake works like you wouldn't believe, and it can only get better because the pads are worn at funny angles right now. There would be no point moving the booster because the frame already has a small booster arch.
  24. Iolos are the best, cos he'll make anything.
  25. A mate has the pedals for DH, and he says the pins are so long that his feet don't actually touch the pedals, just sit on the pins.
