    Speed Camera?

expecta friendly letter from HMSCU within 28 days i believe? if you haven't after that you're free and can't be prosectuted for the offence as it has become null due to delay but unless you have points already i wouldn't really worry too much. unless you need a clean licence for work/applying for jobs.
  3. KEEN! only seen FMX twice, loved every second. but this crew go ballistic! and i love the bike porn on show at these things and the pit girl porn on show and the smoker smell and the commitment and the atmosphere and the noise and...and...and...

    Zhi Video 15

those back wheels were mahuuuuuuuusive! really enjoyed it, looked almost casual some really techy bits in there as well as the outright size! very very good video
  5. because you're thinking on the move, not sat around analysing the line/move if you just rolled up to something and said 'yeah! i'll hit that' and just went straight into it, its more likely you'll go for it. sittin around eyeing it up makes things worse! but then i never over analyse stuff personally just can see my mates doing it!
  6. more rotating wieght increases the gyroscopic effect of the wheel. this makes it harder to turn and flick the bike. thats why bmxer's like low rotating weight, it makes the bike easier to flick and change direction not that it makes manuals easier a heavier wheel would be harder to change direction on in a manual so a heavy front wheel is not cool if you like tech manual lines. however if you just want to go straight a heavy wheel makes the bike harder to topple and makes the manual /stoppy straighter/harder to tip over physics lesson over i dont scrub the redundant brake when manualling or stoppying
  7. that was EPIC!! such a big smooth and technical approach! loved the riding, the lines, the camera work, everything basically! personal highlight (among many) was the really slow stoppy, from a sidehop, down the sloped car park entrance wall!! good luck in the future guys, so much potential oh and please drop another gem like this soon!!
  8. watch and learn kids! that was class!
  9. scotty cranmer does those and ryan gutler (sp?) i reckon it'll pave the way for a game like mat hoffmans or tony hawks to involve trials (street though) although it wouldn't do the sport justice!
  10. trials bike is a thing but my motorbike's a girl, she's my baby lmao!
  11. gonna kick it after smokin almost 5 yrs (9 month gap at 18) only 20 so thats pretty bad, still healthy and pretty fit just don't want it in my life anymore, stops me pushin for the fitness i want. defrinately gonna use the technique i used last time, every fag i had i made myself skip for 10 min when i next was able to. so if i had 5 fags in one day it'd mean 50 min skipping AKA absolutely killer!
  12. 2911 as an improvement of nearly 700 on last attempt (see above) i'm amazed seein as i smoke wonder if its a help or a hindrance lmao

  14. ye the best bet is to find a halfords or the LBS and ask to pinch a box, if you're lucky they may have taken a DH frame recently, and they are usually in nice big wide boxes and i'm probably banging on about something you're aware of, but make sure the rear end is spaced out! cracked frames from transport/flights are a bitch!
  15. lights can be flashing, just not patterns, like burst etc if its a monotonous flashing its still legal, most rear lights are like this because the flashing attracts the eye better, providing more safety for the rider
  16. if you do go for a seat-posted bike, i wouldn't bother with mtb seats, hit up the bmx market!! the ultra-slim, light, comfy and CHEAP seats out there are numerous and have something to suit everyone's colour scheme! (plus they are usually pretty durable, my shadow conspiracy is )
  17. thats just rocked my world, i dont have to sit on my bike you say? see thats where i've been going wrong all this time!! in all honesty the seat would be so low it'd be useless anyway. tyres are alright perches but a wall or a rock is soooo much better i love my seat, on my bmx, i don't really see the need on the trialler, it would be more of a pain in the ass then it would be a plus
  18. surely roughing the surface will reduce the amount of material in contact with the rim and make the brake worse? anyway just use decent pads and a decent grind (doesn't always need to be fresh/sharp) and set up the brake PROPERLY! my brake is never playing up because i take time and set up the brake well. runnin monty pads (short) on a pretty worn grind (echo rim) with a booster and the original bleed for the maggie from 2005
  19. Pure class. That was a breath of fresh air, i really enjoyed the chilled edit and its suits your huge yet apparently effortless and un-rushed style/technique. (oh and the front on the fence was a masterclass in precision) More of the same!
  20. the arguement of lean and explosive muscle and stamina Vs outright power, rears its head again the explosive movement training (plyometrics??), will have more impact then just weighing yourself down when riding. And as mentioned could have an detrimental effect on joints which are highly stressed during trials already. I dont see gymnasts using them for good reason (and believe me, per kg body weight they are incredibly powerful) Its movement of your bodyweight around the bike which epitamises trials, adding a lump of weight seriously affects how you would behave on the bike. The combination of technique and familiarity with body weight/bike weight will get you further then adding an inch to your legs/arms in muscle which will probably be bulk muscle not lean efficient muscle anyway i'm done. if you want to try it then let us know oh and malcom- baggy clothes+extra weight+knobblies/lower pressure= BURN
  21. and its just a session down his local park not a comp or a jam or a video section shoot just him playing. shows how much ability he has and what he is capable of, those 720's a 900 and flip whips and double whips 720's are ridiculous!
  22. sumo's are 3"?? really? (not an expert just i'd have thought thats well slack and will flap and scrub the wide tyres? my enduro bike runs with about 2 inches and i'd have thought that would require more then a motard? anyway sorry i'm off topic, sprung tensioners:D but i'd have said a bout a 1.5- 2 cm in total. thats what the bmx liked and how i'd set up a mod
