  1. 2 miles, about 10 mins or less on the bike.
  2. Working in a Giant/Specialized dealer nearly every bike we have comes with a juicy of some description and a good percentage of them feel crap upon leaving the shop but when they come back for a free service they all feel great. Seem to just take a while to firm up in the lever. Same happened to the juicy fives on my sx trail and if I dont ride it for a few weeks it pulls further to the bar again but firms up within a few miles.
  3. 11.69 for me alone... oops
  4. RC drifters are very intpo thier cnc'd bits. Could check ebay and search for RC hop ups. Things like camber kits. bottom and top arms, hubs, motor mounts and motor heatsinks (even got the name for that one). drift rc site Forums worth a look. Mostly american but very helpful.

All the best of luck with it all JT. If you fell strongly enough for eachother to go to the bother of meeting up then it should all pass off smoothly... maybe you leaving with a green card?
  6. Right ho. My passat 1.8 20v started turning into a diesel today lol ... it won't really rev past 4k takes ages to rev round even without car in gear. It is idleing grand and below 4k pulls like it always did. Is it proper f**ked?

    Hope Pro 2

Pro 3 has a disc mount? Maybe a sign that it won't be a road specific hub?
  9. Do they still make Tudor Roast beef and pickle crisps? If so send me some lol
  10. Looks brilliant! If they do a PR version of that I will be making the move to the way of the Monty!
  11. I love trials forum because it has brought on the sport of trials in Northern Ireland I believe, it has gave us insight into what products are good back in the day and how big riders over the UK are going etc. Different techniques that we might not have found in such a small scene!
  12. Brilliant, brings back some memories! Do have an insanely low BB though when I had orange forks on.
  13. We're British!! lol When in the mainland I get called a 'Paddy' is that racism?
  14. Where did your mini go? Thats a great finish, your dad owns a bodyshop though doesn't he? WOuld be great to have somewhere indoors to work. Fingers crossed everything goes well in next few months and I may have.... full time!
  15. Yea once it has gone on it takes a lot longer to take off that just mask up in the first place. Going over plastics that have gone white with a pencil eraser or smooth peanut butter takes it off... I shit you not lol
  16. Hello, not much posted from me in a while. Hopefully that will all change now. Started off by cleaning my boss' van at the end of last week. He was looking to sell it and just wanting it to be red and the interior cleaned. Stickers he wasn't prepared to pay anyone to remove Started off by giving it a rince down with the pressure washer followed by a coating of CG's Maxi Suds. After this I washed it with a lambs wool mitt and some megs #00 (which I found to be pretty good first time using it). After this I give it a claying which smoothed the paint a good bit. Gave it a quick wash again with #00. I masked up and tested some megs #80 with a sonus white enhance pad which proved to be what I was after (not major swirl removal just getting oxidised paint back to life). :buffer: That is graffiti on it haha The van was then given a coat of harlys wax and buffed off with nice new mf's. Tree Shot :thumb: Wheels with Elite (Northern Ireland not the one on here) wheel cleaner and tyres with megs endurance. Trim with Gold class trim detailer as I had loads left lol. Interior vacumed with Karcher wet and dry jobbie. Seats cleaned with Elite (NI again) upholstery cleaner and a soft brush then wet vacced out. Trim floor and doors cleaned with Megs APC then dressed with armourall matt wipes. Closest seat done other one not Next was my dads car, he has been layed up for the last few months with a month in hospital with burns to his feet and skin graft etc. Thought since it won't be long until he is up and about again I would give his car the once over. Just a quick one (well thats how it started out). Pretty much same steps as the Vav only it required some Menz PG with a LC Cutting pad followed by Menz IP with a SFX Enhance pad. Finished with Collinite. (got playing with vaccing wee lines haha)
