Iv found the best way to service a monty fagwheel is too..... put your crank in a vice. . . then using a fagwheel tool take the freewheel off the crank . . . . now the next step is the tricky one that most people cant do however even though it seems impossible its worth it in the end run, you now need to attempt to flush it down your toilet.. . . . step 4 is to then get a eno/echo/tencile/rockman freewheel. however, tryall, monty,rockman,viz and all that are pretty much thee hardest bastards to get into so its not worth it and you wouldent get parts for it either so rather than a service of witch even if you did get it done or diy you still stand a chance of not helping it get better, so new freewheel time . . . . . . . . you can service and get new parts for tencile/eno <

there nice frame, theres a lot who dont like them, but I found both of mine to be good there light, good geo both long and short good booster. as of most modern frames they have a weak point(breakmounts) but its hardly off putting.
