They did go down the pan but the name is now used for a range of budget bikes. This is a 2009 frame, 2009 was the final year the Sunday was produced.

Cheers. I'm really happy with the bike, it seems that good things come to those who wait! I know the steerer is a bit long. I got my friend that works in the LBS to fit the headset and cut the steerer while I was at work, the forks were new so the steerer was about 60mm longer than it is now. Cutting the steerer shorter is high on my list of things to do! I'm also on the look out for a Thomson seat post, E13 LG1+ chain guide and eventually a Hope Pro2 rear hub. Oh and I want to get a smaller close ratio cassette.

Since getting into downhill I have always liked Iron Horse Sunday's. At the end of the summer I decided to start looking for one on the second hand market. The market was littered with heaps of shit and anything nice was either overpriced or the wrong size! Eventually this immaculate looking bike appeared on ebay at an OK price so I clicked buy it now and hoped the listing was accurate. The bike arrived and it had barely been used! I then spent the next 2 weeks swapping parts from my Glory and sorting a few brand new parts to get the bike how I wanted it. I have only had the chance to go out on it for a few hours since completing it but I loved it! First impressions are that the bike is much more stable than the Glory and it feels like I should get used to the bike fairly quickly. There are still a few changes and upgrades in the pipeline but for now the project is complete and I am looking forward to riding it loads when the clocks change and the evenings get lighter! The ebay purchase: The completed bike for the time being:

Reem I'm a total dick that watches a shit program and then insists on quoting things from it in my own life. Saying this automatically gives others permission to belt you round the face with a shovel. An expression used by retards in the South of England to prove they're a cunt.

Power Coaters In Cornwall/mtb Cranks Choice
haydon_peter replied to Martin Reynolds's topic in Bike Chat
Stick with the Hollowtech 2 system, it rules! I expect you could get a new BB and chain rings for less than the cost of that crank set. Alternatively for not much more you should be able to get a complete Hollowtech 2 crank set including cranks, BB and chain rings. -

Another interesting article to read before deciding to jump on the band wagon...

Read this before making any decisions, it's quite an interesting article!

The voucher does not remove from postage so I just got a basic Shimano Bleed kit for £2.50 (The bleed kit was only £3.69, massive saving haha!) Ah well I am happy because it is something for the tool box and at least I do not have to go into Boots again and be asked if I am on a needle exchange program when I am searching for a syringe

Frozen water is a harder fluid, that moves really freely in a hose/lever

I used to have a completely standard Tamiya TL-01 with a Subaru Impreza body shell. I enjoyed building the kit more than actually using it so ended up selling it to Oli Lewis who did a shed load of modifications to it, it was so much faster once Oli had finished with it!

Yes, bib shorts underneath baggy shorts. Currently wearing leg warmers as well, I look like an idiot but at least I am warm and comfortable. When it gets warmer I will probably end up wearing the bib shorts without the baggies, then I will look like a proper gay roadie

Does anyone want to start a new business with me? We will buy Halfords brake fluid (DOT or Mineral, whichever is cheapest) then we will put it in bottles and put stickers on it saying 'TANK BRAKE FLUID THIS STUFF IS BETTERER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE' and we will sell it on ebay for massive profits! Who's in?
