  1. Hey there mate, That was a very good little video. I myself have only been riding 2 and a half months and you are definately ahead of me One thing I would recommend you doing though, If you're about to do a drop off a wall, Ride up to the wall first and put your front wheel right on the edge, Then get on your rear wheel but do it in a way where you take it right to the edge of the wall where your front wheel was in one single move, Then hop off.
  2. Some of that video was awesome, the best rider with the best attitude.
  3. Hey mate, firstly, welcome to the forum Secondly, You shouldn't have it in gear 4 IMO. Gear 1 or 2 would make hopping forward much easier as you have more power in smaller pedals.
  4. These: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=138 They any good?
  5. Looks really nice actually, i'm suprised And if you are so 'nuts' about the weight, then do you know exactly how much it weighs currently? I'm just interested
  6. Whoa, huge gaps and a really really nice style of riding, good little video
  7. Great video, Really enjoyed that mate Pretty big sidehops and some nice straight to back's. Really liked your style on those rocks too, good riding
  8. Wow that couse looks awesome! Cool video
  9. Looks like a really nice bike there mate, very good condition like you said, excellent infact! And with that spec I would say making high starting price of about £600. Maximum i reckon you would get for it is £800. Good luck selling if you put it on Ebay mate
  10. Is one of the legs on them bending over to one side? That could be why ..?

  12. Okay, thanks mate. I have now decided to just throw that idea away anyway and get black risers.

  14. ... I have seen some amazing free-running video's in my time, but OMFG! ..That was blew them all away, He is brilliant.
  15. Nice riding, really like it Some really big stuff
  16. Thanks for the help everyone, the link to that carbon-like tape was great cheers
  17. Dude, what's wrong with vertical drop-outs anyway? They mean you don't have to spend ages getting your wheel straight with your frame?
  18. Mainly because the start of it is so hilarious!
  19. Well mate, you said you're riding a mountain bike? Which seriously does make it SO much harder! One reason, it probably weighs 5 or so KG's more than any trials related bike, and two, it probably has suspension? You don't want sus! Anyway, to the backhops, these will probably take you a couple of months to learn to do correctly and controlably. With the front hops, people who have been riding years can't even do them! They're not needed in any riding anyway to be honest.
  20. Hey there, I have noticed that my rim tape has gone off to one side at parts on my rim, so half my innertube is bulging through the hole, which i guess can't be good. I was just wondering, is there some really strong rim tape you can get that to make sure the tubes stay in? Maybe even made out of plastic? Cheers,
  21. Hey there mate, P3's don't look like bad bikes and the set-up you wrote about sounded pretty decent. Only thing I could recommend for you is to get alot lighter gearing. Something like 18t sprocket and 14t freewheel would probably be your best option. lighter gearing like that will also make it so much easier for you to learn to kick-hop (pedal hop) Good luck learning mate Also look here: Trashzen.com Very helpful
  22. That frame is rather lush! Hope it doesn't snap on you
  23. Paint job looks great, nice choice on that colour And yeah, I recommend you get some Echo Lite or Urban forks, they'll look nice on it, and they're strong too.
  24. I looked at some of the picture galleries on the link you gave. Looks very cool
  25. Yeah I think Silver or grey Zip's look awesome
