ok here goes ...... trialtech forged stock stem any good? its light at 155g , so would i be wise to get one? or would the welded version be stronger? and the echo tr rear non disc hub.... its got a steel axle, but wondered is it actually very strong? it looks skinny ... anyone got one or broke one? and the trialtech stock forks ... are they much stronger than the zoo pitbull forks?im hearing they are strong but has anyone snapped any yet? finally the tnn brake mounts and intergrated booster.... my mate bought the set, and when he tightened it all up basically the mounts bent around the magura slaves and still slipped like fook... so he sent them back and got a replacement, which he still has packaged up. i may buy them at the end of the month but he said they are made of fudge......! anyone else got any? are they really bad or do they work? any answers to the above will be appreciated!!!

out of curiosity , was wondering what some of the biggest taps are that either people have done or people have seen..... dont think there's a world record for it is there?

lol.yeah im going to, it seems ive made the mistake looking at at the standard 110/74mm raceface..... i need the compact ones by the sound of it
-
atm i have fsa powerpro cranks with a middleburn 20 tooth chainring and one of those small steel tooth fairy bashrings on the outer arms ... its a 5 arm crank........... the raceface ive seen are a 5 arm design and the listing says they are not compact ,they are the bigger 110bcd.... i wasnt sure what that meant so measured my bashring holes and they appear 94mm which according to raceface is the compact version. so i take it the cranks wouyld be no good for chainring and bashgaurd that im currently using? just remeasured and my chainring is 58mm hole to hole and the bashring is 94mm
-
is the bcd the measurement from the crank arms main chainring holes ? i.e hole to hole at the longest point . i see raceface cranks have either 94mm compact or 110mm. i have crappy fsa's at the min with a tooth fairy steel bashring, would it not fit onto raceface cranks with a 110mm bcd? ..... i measured the power pro's and it seems about 94mm from hole to hole ........

evening all..im finally looking into what isis cranks i should be getting in the near future, i maybe going middleburn and keeping a 22tooth ring up front and my freewheel on the rear, or i maybe going front freewheel. was wondering what cranks are the best for front freewheel, and which onesi should avoid. ive heard some cranks are prone to stripping on the freewheel threads so need to know which ones do this. also which cranks are prone to snapping, i am a big lad so its all about strength not lightweight parts......... cheers

uuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm........minding my own business playing cod on me ps3 and bang ....went to the kitchen to find another spoke just randomly snapped itself .make that 4 spokes now wtf???
-
was awaiting your response matt lol,.......... gonna stick with my hub and buy a new rim and new spokes soon, but just dont want my new wheel to do the same as this is doing. you riding this weekend?
-
evening all....... was wondering if many people have the problem of spokes snapping under heavy preloading moves.....had 4 snap a while back, but replaced them and now 3 more have snapped. its a pain in the arse, especially having to get the freewheel off the hub to replace them. im running a dmr revolver hub , try all rim and the spokes are black sapim race spokes. they break at the hub flange everytime. i bought the wheel of a mate about 5 months ago when i started back up , and it was his mates wheel before that, but ive worked in bike shops and built many a wheel, and spoke tension is fine all round. can spokes become brittle after a couple of years? never thought about it before......or is it because i weigh like 18 stone, and they just cant take my weight lol.... any help cheers
-
once i get my hands on some middleburns splined, i'll be buying myself a bottom bracket too..... was wondering how much stronger the m12 axles are than the 15 ones? i weigh 18 stone odd , and square taper axles cant hack anything above 8 or 9 foot drops without breaking on me , so ive been sticking to technical riding till i get a strong isis setup, have many people broke the m15 axles? or is it worth the extra weight and beef up to the m12's . cheers guys.....

of course they are tom tom.........!!!!! stick with your heatsink cnc's and buy your refills like im doing
