Ahh yes, exactly thats the greatest point ever! Why should be dispute anything any other culture does, if its okay in their culture, surely it must be okay then!? I mean the nazis, they were only following the trend in the culture, im sure if it was okay at the time, then we cant question their way of life, or beheading people in certain cultures because they are homosexuals etc that must be okay because its accepted in their culture that homosexuality is wrong. Instead of starting a new thread thought id hijack this one quickly Does anyone know where the hell these ipod touch's are for sale?, ive looked in every shop and asked if they have any they say ..."no we havent got any" do you know when you will get some.... Ye i work at Tesco's aswell...yay!? I absolutely despise the job (im a checkout bitch) as i hate a quite a few of the customers that come through as they are all moaning assholes the rest are okay though and staff are a laugh. But the pay is good £6.28 per hour at the moment and is the only reason im keeping the job. So i'd advise if you went for something like tesco's to work as a shelf stacker or something like that, stay away from checkouts.

Very true indeed, one of the few paradoxes there are, such as the benevolence (all caring) paradox also, whereby as definition of god states, he is all caring, he is also omnipotent (all powerful) amongst other attributes a god apparently has, as he is all powerful he has the ability to prevent any/all hurt, pain, suffering etc in the world with ease without causing any pain, hurt etc in the process.....yet there is suffering in the world, therefore god is either not all benevolent, or not all powerful, if he isnt either of those then he is not really a god. Although to reply to your paradox, some argue that the question itself is contradictory, by saying that something which is indestructible cant be destroyed in the first place, therefore the question is not valid. It is also argued that god exists different to the way we do (such as outside our universe) , whereby he is governed under his own laws and therefore can perform such actions that we in our own space and time governed under our set laws of physics would find incomprehensible.

I agree with you there it is impossible to prove or disprove the existence or god, but people have argued that instead that its just improbable that there is one whilsts other theories are probable, i also dont have a problem with people believing in a 'god' etc if it helps them in a way of comfort, hope of an afterlife etc, we all need something to take our mind off the strange world we live in, its when they feel they shouldnt be criticised by other peoples opinions that conflict theres, or feel the need to force religion upon others. As fair for the faith, couldnt you argue thats the same as blind obedience? Thought i'd just contribute to this thread as its something i have alot of opinion on, especially the argument involving creationism (ugh!) vs. evolution. I think if im correct in saying from something i vaguely remember from school and from my science exam that there is something called a 'red shift' and it is when light is travelling away from you, the wavelength of the light is stretched and shifts towards red (in the electromagnetic spectrum), as it shifts further it may not become visible at all, therefore what do you see when you see nothing...black. Kinda the same as the doppler effect just with vision instead. The red shift is used to measure something about moving planets i think or something like that . Probably wrong but its something like that anyway! I'm not directing what im saying at anyone by the way, im just letting people know why im going to babble on about this as its a bit off topic from the last few posts! Why is it not possible.....well why is it possible? because an age old scripture says thats what happened, which says that we have a perfect all caring, all powerful, all knowing god, yet we live in a world full of imperfections? There is no piece of irrefutable evidence that can be used to prove that a 'god' did this, and the theory of 'intelligent design' cannot really be used as evidence as that theory was flawed from the start to begin with, i suppose what im trying to get at is that, religion for some reason does not have to prove itself to anyone, it just arrogantly assumes of itself that it is correct, yet when science begins to challenge religion or anything that contradicts a part of religion, they are then inclined to prove there theories. why is this? A reason for why we dont know why the universe or how it really begin, is becuase i believe due to technology, we are just not yet capable of being able to study such questions yet. An example would be the evolutionary theory, Darwin would get slated by religions for his theory until we did get enough technology to fight back there arguments,such as finding out the genetic link in apes and humans. Another thing lol, does anyone agree with this, lets say you werent born in the U.K and instead born into a god loving town in USA, now you are more than likely to be brought up to believe in chrisitanity right and the christian god, just the same as that if you were born in classical greece, you would be believing in zeus! I suppose what im trying to get at is that its just a belief system + a matter of chance as to where you are born which is likely what makes you believe what you do, surely thats simply a flaw in itself of a god. Yeh ive got casino royale on blu-ray aswell, got it free when i got a PS3, picture quality is really good as you'd expect. Up to you if you really want to get one though, as Olly said, go and see what its like for yourself first then decide.

At the moment i have: A massive extension lead with loads of sockets, usb slots, internet lines which connect to Lots of external hard drives PS3 Ipod on charge webcam router modem and some other random stuff i cant see where the cables go to

Some of you people geeeez! Talk about handbags at dawn, im sure if the xbox 360 was kept at a ridiculously high price and you wanted one...you would buy it. PS3 is at a high price, people want it therefore people buy it, last time i checked aswell you buy a console for the decent games it has to offer (or in ps3 case games it will eventually have to offer) and the ability to play HD dvd's is also a bonus, i love the way everyone goes...oh xbox 360 has a media centre that makes it a better games console its just one of those extras that sounds good but the novelty of it soon wears off as you hardly use it same as the ps3 controllers, the way they can be used in the same way as the nintendo wii controllers where you move the controller and you can change direction etc, that sounds quite good but its kinda boring already. I slated the 360 when it first came out, but once of my mates had it i thought its a pretty good machine, and after ive got my ps3 i think its pretty much the same as the 360 as what it has to offer.

I've got one already, i was out in town last night and Game was opening at midnight so i popped in and bought it( brother then took it home) but was too wasted when i got home to play it. To be honest i dont see any difference in xbox 360 and ps3 i just prefer playstations and they have muuch better controllers IMO. Although i do agree they have wank release titles for it, but im just looking forward to GTA4 and mgs4, ffXIII etc EDIT: o dear, i just watched a video from that smashmyps3 how sad are those people camping out for longer than 18hours for a ps3

I only partially dislocated my shoulder and had damaged my rotator cuff (group of shoulder muscles) pretty good and it was pretty raped for about a year and a bit, mainly due to the fact i was told to stop playing rugby for quite a while, which i only did for about 4 weeks then started again (bad idea - hurt lots), so id listen to them and stop doing any kinda activity that puts strain on your shoulder for aslong as they tell you to and do the exercises they shouldve told you to do to slowly strengthen it back up again when you can, with some kind of stretchy band until you can use light weights. Its not really until i started going to the gym that ive really healed my shoulder properly sometime last year. So all is not lost, im pretty sure its something like 6 weeks just resting it, then start doing exercises or something like that! Have fun, hope all goes well.
