  1. You'd have enjoyed the street at the end
  2. i would sand it out instead of trying to bend it back or anything similar, i did the same on my echo frame and the bottom of the dropout cracked open and was no longer usable
  3. Thanks for the comments guys! Too right man!
  4. Yeah sorry about that, i tried my best to get rid of it but apparantly lowering/muting the clip volume has the same effect on the music so it kept going from loud to quiet and i didn't know how to resolve it Think its time to get some proper software as apple seem to have lost the plot Cheers though!
  5. sorry about the background noise, the new iMovie is very user unfriendly and worse than the last so the whole thing is a little sketchy first outing in my car so we got some clips together, enjoy!
  6. prefer the triton as a bike but he is such a weapon, no boundaries on what he can do, can't wait for the full video
  7. 105+ rockman proto i'd say

    Swint? Or Slude?

1.33 changed my ideas on what is possible on a bike, how you even managed it let alone made it look like the easiest thing you've ever done i do not know The rest was equally impressive too, you're getting too good!
  9. I should have been more specific, i was talking about Stocks in general really as mods have always had slightly higher bb's and what people would class as high/low on mod and stock are very different. Sorry about that! I would say that a mod needs a higher bb to ride well at all (no less than 50/60mm really) I had always rode mod/24 up until 2012 when i got a Limey4 with 70mm rise, since then i have had a Control 09 short (30mm) and an Inpulse r26 2010 (45mm) and both of the later i have prefered massivly - the inpulse in particular - and it just got me wondering what i am going to do when it cracks, i don't earn enough to be able to spend out on a kloud and asides from the Crewkerz freed which is a bit short for me, there is simply nothing similar i can replace it with. I get that companies don't want to spend out on designing multiple frames for such a niche market, but most company produce more than one anyway and just make them really similar (Rockman for example). And as the poll shows the lower BB market is equally if not more popular than the comp style geo. market, so why companies have moved away from making them i don't know! Of course I'm not saying they should produce them only like they used to as different people prefer different bikes, but if companies want to keep the trials market in general alive they need to cater to the needs of all types of riders! As the way things are going, trials is a dying sport and in my opinion, its not going to get any better if things keep going the way they are.
  10. Well obviously the chain stays, wheelbase, reach ect. vary from frame to frame, but in general, pre 2009/10 frames had no higher bb than 50mm Whereas now, its very difficult to find any frames with less than 60mm bb, the majority are 65-80mm or so
  11. I know that bb height isn't everything when it comes to geometry, but i at least think we should still have the option to buy low or high bb! We still get to choose whether we want a short or long bike (sort of), so why can we no longer buy lower bb bikes? I am not a huge fan of the new style geometry's with sky high bottom brackets, especially on stocks, the bikes themselves don't seem to look as nice, and even worse, the style of people riding them has gone downhill in my eyes (many top comp riders), of course there are the select few that could look stylish on anything; Fontenoy springs to mind, but mostly its few and far between as appose to what it used to be a few years back! Now the best trials videos to watch in terms of style are the likes of Ali C on an 'old school' style geometry bike with all the modern tweaks (not that he wasn't awesome back int' day too) Just wanted to find out some other takes on the subject! Paul x
