Its the distance to travel that always did it for me, I've maybe done 2/3 comps since i started riding 5/6 years ago. Living in the midlands and not being old enough to drive just made it so difficult to get to them even when i was interested in riding comps due to there not being a venue within about a hundred mile radius. It just made much more sense to get the train to Leicester/Cov/Brum for a group street ride and spend less than a tenner all in. However there were a load more riders around back then and the scene in general has definitely dwindled in the past few years

Cheers man Some rocks have brown algae type patches which get really slippy in the wet that are best avoiding, apart from that they're just as grippy as when dry. I've got a rear slick on too and didn't notice any difference Best natural spots I've ever rode are all the valley round there

Couple of clips I forgot to take my camera with me on sunday so i just got a few clips on my phone and threw in a couple from a few years back Shall be making some proper length ones over the summer and try my hand at some decent editing instead of just throwing them together in 5, Enjoy.

Always hated the look of Sky2/3/Raijin frames Any stock frame with a super high bb just looks wrong to me, think it has something to do with the down and top tubes being pretty much parallel to each other. Can be said for most frames now though i suppose Zhi ZM3 however wins it for me

Ah right, I'm only 15 mins from Cov so i'll try give it a search and hopefully sort some rides out

me and kyle rode there last week and ran out of spots after about 2 hours or so, most of the decent spots have been knocked down so riding wise its pretty awful now sounds like a good turnout though, the more people the better it is generally, didn't realise there were that many around that rode anymore

Picked myself up a Mk1 Scirocco last year, 79 1.6 GLS, all original at the moment, have got some ideas in the pipeline for when I've given it a respray and fitted the new middle section

Glad to see that crewkerz has replaced koxx as the popular name in trials! Never been a big fan of much koxx ever made, but crewkerz seem to have got the good looking + well made frame/bike combo spot on, especially when compared to anything else about at the moment really.

You're getting too good really now flipp! Would love to see a video purely on the Koxx to see a contrast between the two
