  1. Not today as such, but my frame broke earlier and these are the last and only clips i managed to get, just a quick ride on the tree stump outside my house.
  2. the music is not too my taste but the riding more than makes up for it! ridiculous moves!
  3. Really enjoyed that! Cant help but think what a weird location to have built a light house
  4. It is tempting me, the frame kit on tarty looks super tidy and is really good value. Ah right, i run a TT high rise 130x25 and rockman high rise bars as it is so maybe it would work pretty nicely. Something short could be more fun also and allow me to switch up my riding which is appealing also.
  5. From what i remember the riding was ok, could just be my mind playing tricks on me. Maybe one day you'll manage to grasp the concept of releasing a video
  6. Just had a look and its discontinued unfortunately. I was under the impression that they only made a 24" skill, must have missed it.
  7. Always liked your videos, good to see you back riding! I'd say you need to post this in the video section too
  8. Are there any still being made? My current rig measures up at 1083, +45, 380, 670ish reach and I'm looking for something similar really. Don't particularly want something super heavy, my ideal would be a frame built like a modern one, with an 'older' geometry. Have tried the high bb business and i feel it takes away flow and style. Im not in need of a frame as yet but i wouldn't mind having a change for the summer, however the closest thing i can find is the Crewkerz Freed which I'm a little worried will be too short for me at 1065 with 665 reach. Im about 5'8" so i don't necessarily need something with a massive reach or wheelbase, but from previous experience i didn't get on with an 09 Echo control short which was 1070, +30 or so (never measured the reach). I feel like i may need to bite the bullet and order one as i can't see any being manufactured in the future with a more modest and less pogo stick like geometry, and i'll be forced to if these go out of production. Any one able to weigh in some options? Cheers, Paul.
  9. Looks awesome, love the simplicity of the steel frames
  10. Unreal moves going down. Ali's riding recently, especially since switching to the steel frames, has tempted me massively into buying an inspired. Something i thought i wouldn't ever be tempted by! if only i had some money..
  11. Glad to see people getting back into it! the scene has taken a turn for the worse over the past few years Seeing these spots in videos adds to my excitement to have some decent riding on my doorstep when i move down in September, certainly better than what there is locally in the midlands anyway
  12. If it was me i would go for the trial tech forged 120/17 with high rise bars( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_stems/trialtech_sport_forged/c41p10429.html ) or the high rise version of the same stem which is 130/25, used both and would recommend them
  13. Always admired your riding, perfect combination of big, controlled and smooth/effortless
  14. I have thought about this in the past and have always been torn between the video you made of me and the one i did of myself a month or so earlier. Both are from the year i had in mind so it doesn't make a difference which one as they both do the same job. Reason being that it reminds me of a much simpler time when weekends revolved solely around riding and having a laugh. The biggest of my worries involved scraping some money together for train tickets or fuel for a lift the following Saturday.
  15. Riding was nuts, his style is so effortless As said the music doesn't suit a riding video at all really

Had this frame for over a year now, love how it rides especially since changing to high rise bars Got myself some new rims recently and it has much improved the look of the bike! Rough spec: frame - r26 mk1/2010 forks - urban 2014 (i think) front wheel - clean rim laced on k2 hub rear wheel - rockman rim laced on echo tr hub bars - rockman high rise brakes - 05 maggys with racing line alloy pistons and original cousts front and rear some parts still need replacing due to age related wear but i'll get round to them before i finish for summer hopefully
  17. gap to hook has to be the highlight for me, looked effortless! sick stuff as usual prattley!
  18. I can't think of a word that sums up well enough how much i enjoyed that Flipp As an all round video definitely your best in my opinion!
