  1. I went out on my bike last year the snow, my brake levers were so cold it went through my gloves and I had numb fingers in no time. So this year I shall stay inside, and eat mince pies.
  2. It's also too old to be doing sidehops Edit: On a more serious note, it sounds like you are very hunched up on the bike. Are you quite tall? It sounds as if higher bars and a longer stem might do you good. Going from a 26" to 24" might feel different initially, but you'll get the hang of it.
  3. Loved that, got to be one of my favourite songs of all time as soon as it came on I thought 'this is going to be a good one'
  4. I need to get me some skinny jeans and a speedrace Really good riding Jamie!

That last clip was screaming out for the slow mo! Joe Maher made that sand back kicker look much easier in his video! Haha, looking forward to a full video mate
  6. Did you go all green? or a different colour for the forks? Really excited to see it finished!
  7. Watching videos like this makes me want to ride big wheels so much! Very technical rider, like it
  8. Forks- White (blue and white always look badass) As for bar and stem, something neutral as above.
  9. I thought 270 drop off's were cool doing one after every single trip gets a bit boring!
  10. Really depends what kind of riding you're doing, and your skill level As the risk of falling off and how much it would hurt if you did changes. I personally always wear one, because it helps me go bigger. (I use the term 'bigger' lightly) A sort of confidence booster, but if you're riding on the edge of a shear drop.. it's either going to go smoothly, or go reaaaally badly, like in Chris's case.
  11. Sounds worth a try, can't do any harm
  12. In that case you want to do it using the least heat possible, so the water method might be better. Is the idea that the oil floats to the top?
  13. I've heard you whack them in the oven to boil out the oil.. I assume the softer compound just means the oil soaks in faster/further?
  14. A mod wheelset would be fine, very very few people run a 20" rear wheel. If anyone offers you something you can always check it's 19" with a quick google search anyways.
  15. 20" front wheel and a 19" rear wheel is what you're looking for. The rear wheel is an inch smaller to compensate for the inch thick tyre you would run on the rear.
  16. Loved that, really relaxed feel but some big moves It also ruined my day, makes me want to ride so so much! but I can't because of my spanish exam!
  17. woaaah. You're mad to get a brand new Skye and go near it with chemicals and scrape the paint off! I'd be reading it bedtime stories and tucking it up in bed Either way it looks ace raw, keep it like that
  18. Instantly loved it because of the song, some really good places to ride there
  19. I was looking at mine the other day and thought that, maybe if I was taller I'd be able to ride it properly
  20. This could have multiple meanings, either way.. savage!
  21. Either way, they're trying to like something they arn't!
  22. Looks like you've made that to look really good, like the sidehop, but not shown any riding. I don't mean it offensively, but it doesn't do you any good
  23. Because Rockman probably got a great price on these brakes, and they looks a bit like shimano saints. At first glance I thought they were, so probably looks/price rather than because they are good for trials!
  24. 1.34 did not look like he got his feet back on! Saw The Clan at the London bike show, soo good!
  25. I wish someone would put a copy in my stocking! I also found when learning, trying to ride as slowly as possible was really helpful. You start to learn to 'b*tch crank' which is the basis of pedal kicking. B*tch cranking being where you only pedal about 60 degrees, before returning your pedal to staring position and then repeating. Good luck
