  1. My main criticism of the week long courses is that you really don't get much on road experience time with them. So then you pass your test but spend a long time driving like a noobie without the instructor there to help you The 3 people I know who did the week long course, 2 of them wrote their car off within about 6 weeks, the people who learnt the longer winded way have (mostly) been fine How come you must do your test in england, if you live in belgium?
  2. There's them week long intensive courses, I've known a few people pass on them
  3. Dude. I'd get way more than that and book your test when your driving instructor thinks you're ready to do it.
  4. I have no idea to be honest, Danny Macaskill rides inspired, see if you can find his bike spec somewhere? Seriously, try turning your bars a bit first, see if that does anything for you. I recently turned mine and my bike feels way better
  5. Try moving your bars a bit and see if you can make it feel better, if not maybe you need something in the middle like a 70mm ^^
  6. i did this, but now I only have one shin pad. how can I make a homemade shinpad?
  7. Is the random brightness intentional or just youtube being crappy? Pretty cool riding, especially for a guy just returning and on a totally different bike I've just been getting back into trials after a year and a bit out, Need to get myself some pallets for the garden
  8. Flat skate shoes with caged pedals. Take the inner cage off They work, I dunno what else you could ask for. You could spend some money on trials shoes but in the end, they're practically flat hi top skate shoes.
  9. I'm tempted wonder if onza have any old school t masters or t comps lying around? ^^
  10. ohhhh frame only yeah i saw that on ebay, was gonna link it here actually for the dude looknig for a frame
  11. are they really going cheap? I've been tempted by getting myself a stock and a knocked down t rex would be pretty sweet!
  12. if supercycles "fixed" it but it's gone again, then they didn't fix it properly (or you've tampered with it since they did it?) so tell them and they should do it properly for you.
  13. if you've replaced the bolts and it still does it, have you checked the threads where it screws into the caliper?
  14. If you want a thick tube that's gonna resist punctures, it's gonna be heavier than a light tube which is more prone to punctures. inverse proportionality basically the prices aren't really that different, and most of the time you've just paying for the name anyway I'm using try-all tubes, no problems yet
  15. that X tort is an old school MAD frame
  16. He's not gonna get that joke I bet dude
  17. I just checked tarty because I was sure they were the same, they are! ahahaha. /thread
  18. which* VP pedals all the way for me
  19. come to think of it, there have also been occasions where they've stopped and watched me attempt something over and over again til I got it, sighing when it didn''t go right and stuff, which is cool also.
  20. All the crappy chav kids know what a trials bike is here, probably because they've researched bikes more expensive than a halfords BMX to steal and stumbled across it... Other than that, nobody else knows what the hell I'm doing trying to ride over benches instead of just going round >.<
  21. I'll have a think dude

I'm skint for a while anyway but if nobody else is interested in the whole bike or the frame alone I might have it :)

  22. Use some GT85 on your pistons. GT40? o.O
  23. Dunno man, what condition's it in? All the threads ok, bash mounts etc?
