  1. Depends what rims you want to run really... Once again I have no idea what to recomend due too my 24" street interests
  2. I feel dirty... do I have to clear my history after the whole boxer short side hop scenario?
  3. If you have a big enough garden you could grab some pallets, pipes, cable reels e.c.t and build yourself a little practise area; its a good way to progress and great fun for when you can't get anywhere to ride
  4. discs allow more modulation rather than a rim brake but its mainly down to personal preferance, I tend to bend rotors all the time so I have been running a disc on the front and a HS33 on my street rig; which I would recomend to anyone. Something like 22-18 maybe? I don't know to be honest, I haven't had a propper stock in two years! :$ Don't know if you can view it yet but just found this thread:
  5. ahh so a freehub then, I'd say go single speed; i used to have a 6-speed stock Onza that never skipped, untill you really didn't want it to what hub you running or think of running?
  6. Same to be honest, although to be fair it does say its a 26" in the little description thingy
  7. Seeing how good it looks here makes me surprised there was so much hate for this frame and colour when it came out.
  8. first time I've ever seen that, I LOVED it!
  9. What frame and how do you want to ride it? natural (rocks) more compy (pallets, rocks, pipes ect) or streety?
  10. haha thank you! you are obviously very trusting or very stupid ....
  11. This makes me rage! You wouldn't go up to a stranger with a new iPhone say and ask if you could hold it and walk away a bit just to 'see if it was any good', and an iPhone is cheeper than most set ups I've run. I think all everyone that asks or has ever asked me that question should be castrated on sight to prevent them from passing on their riddiculously annoying traits through DNA.
  12. This, but I liked the concept which was odd because usualy im not into all that UV, fluro lighting shiz...
  13. I've taken to saying too much, more than i'd like to admit or between two random numbers; for example if you say between 1 and 2 people sometimes asume you're talking about hundreds of pounds and say "that was a deal bruv" or something similar and sometimes the asume that you're talking about thousands of pounds and say "f**king 'ell boi". Its a fun little bit of phsycology (spelling?) and stops me from getting too annoyed.
  14. ate a whole Pritt stick for £40, never saw the money. Also dry humped a complete stranger who was sitting down, like full on mounted the guy for £20
  15. Thinking about it there was some sketty fat bitch in a kids park by me the other day who laughed at me because I was wearing a helmet, then came up to me and said "Aren't you a big man jumping all over toys for kids!" to which I replied "yeah you're much cooler, using those same 'toys' to hide your under-age smoking addiction." This didn't go down well and soon I was having a talk with her boyfriennd who told me I was a helmet wanker, a dickhead and then told me to f**k off, when I didn't he sat down and mumbled various insults at me under his breath.
  16. Random old man: Do you know what the difference is between the ground, I.E what you should be riding on, and what you are riding on?! me: About 3FT.
  17. Hats off to that lad! Kid's got balls and skill!
  18. But no where near as quickly, especially if it is as pure as it is in most trials frames. As a long term thing it would be highly unlikely to see oxidisation occur after this.
  19. Looks like you'd be the first then, DO IT! I would love to see how sexy it actually looks. PEER PRESSURE!!!!
  20. Before you can break a frame with a Maggie you will blow seals, these can/will blow at a force much less of that required to snap a decent inner brake cable, therefore it is possible to produce more breaking power or force through a vee brake rather than a hydrolic rim brake.
  21. I would like to thonk everyone on here had at least heard of Pashley!
  22. Technically speaking a vee brake allows a rider to apply more braking force than a hydrolic rim brake.
