  1. On a track or closed road obviously?!
  2. heres my possibility list, it sounds like I'm in the same boat as the topic starter (except I'm a car-snob) Oh and I fully intend to take advantage of classic car insurance which is available to you at 17: Classic Mini (1000cc or less), Hillman Imp, DAF (of any sort), VW Polo Mk1, VW Golf MK1 1.1, Peugeot 205 XE/junior, Ford Fiesta MK1 1.1, Ford Popular, Fiat 126 and if I happened to win loads of money I would go out and buy myself a Fantasia green open-air Lupo and drive everywhere like this
  3. it was fun at first but after the first few months I had used everything i could on the route, plus I got fed up of having to limp to and from lessons with bleeding shins. Ultimately it got annoying and very tiring. Plus having to lock up my ony trials bike in my town and leave it unattended was quite scary, every day I'd wonder if it was going to be there still, just shows my school isn't as bad as first thought, the only thing that happened was someone let down my front tyre.
  4. you know and ting! But seriously it was actually alot of effort, hence why i posted it. Don't knock it 'till you try it, riding that gearing a good mile or so everyday at 7 in the morning and then back after a long day in school was seriously tiring, I only did it because I had no other bike and no money to buy another for ages.
  5. read all about it: http://www.trials-fo...l__ pro2 116mm also just found this: Just use the search feature and you will find a million and one tips and tricks i searched 'Hope Pro2 116mm'
  6. My Inspired was my daily ride to and from school for a good 6 months
  7. haha I swear he had a bitch-fit on Facebook after everyone accused him of realised he was attention seeking and said that because people were talking about him on here he wasn't going to release this!
  8. the actual riding was good mate, but it looked like it had been filmed with a goat I'm afraid, and not a high quallity goat either! Needed more clips to fit the song as well. I know maybe there was a reason you couldn't get more clips but you could have chosen a different soundtrack maybe?! Sorry to be so critical but the actual riding was better than the video could present it to be, so keep it up mate and next time maybe use a HD goat camera
  9. oddly I disliked the graphics but I'm not sure if it looks better or worse without them :/ I guess this frame just isn't my cup of tea. But i would definately have had to get rid of the whole 'written spec' thing that was a weird idea...
  10. ok but from your first post all of the defects that you had mentioned have been addressed and corrected by Magura on the 2011 model so it seemed to me that you were telling magura to improve the 05 by redeveloping it (which they have by the creation of the 11) by carrying out all of the changes they made in the development of the 11. And i did not know it was a plastic body which is, in fact, my bad; you learn something new everyday and all that. Im sure i saw a 4finger 2011 blade somewhere and surely older braided hoses would fit anyway or you could get the Hope kit from tartys?
  11. the 2011 has a plastic cover but im pretty sure its cnc underneath, also it has a split bar clamp and doesnt have those weak points the 05 had. If he ment a polished finish that wasnt what he said. They are also available with 4-finger blades. So pretty much all the changes he wants to see can be seen on the 11
  12. Sorry to be pedantic but that is basically exactly what the '11 is?! But yeah i run an SL with maggie internals as well and its easily the best rim brake I've ever run (when it's working).
  13. Last time i posted a video by Mr Dupont it turned out to be a re-post but hopefully it's not this time!:
  14. defiately '05 the TPA on the '99 was crap and broke all the time as mentioned above. The '05 did often crack on the body, but this was eaisly prevented by ensureing the clamp bolt was not over-tightened and if you so desired you could remove the probleatic 90degree overhangs with a dremel, these problems did not affect the physical perfomance of the brake. I have never run a '11 but everyone I know who has used one had problems with them leaking; this problem caused Scott wilson to swap to a vee brake on the front of his Impulse.
  15. how long until mark re-uploads it with 'Sail' as the soundtrack?
  16. ^This^ Why are you particularly interested in an Ashton, they're really not that great, you could probably pick up a used Leeson or Onza Zoot frame for similar money. Also If you are running a rim brake on the front you will need to buy 24" forks or a disc brake.
  17. does anyone know when these 'danny mac' tyres are out? Just my Holy Rollers are starting to bald and I was wondering whether i should replace them now or let them bald for a while in wait of these? Thanks Dave
  18. its wierd how in some clips HDR 'works' and in others it just doesn't
  19. that impulse looks really red compared to others
  20. i ride left foot forward but do things as if I rode right foot fowards, i drop / side up to the right.
