Found this after some googling: - Right click the speaker icon in the task bar (or choose Control Panel : Sound). - Select Playback Tab : Speakers : Properties. - Select Enhancements Tab. - Check the Loudness Equalization box and click apply. Volume should now be substantially louder. Modifying Equalizer and Environment settings may also provide a boost. If you've got some sound software, like Realtek, etc, it's got a mixer on the program, you could just max everything out there too.

I think on Winamp you can boost the volume 400% or something?

I had no idea my girlfriend's period was this week. Boy, is my face red!

Right, so I installed Linux, shitty .iso so it was pretty unstable, got a copy of Windows7 I'm trying to install, but something's gone mental and I can't get windows to co-operate. I put the disk in, boot from CD-ROM, but nothing, it just hangs. Am I right in thinking that I need to format the drive before I can switch, because it's not FAT32?

Kids using text talk and such improves their English skills, as if they want to 'txt tlk', they need to decide where they can apply key binding, elision, etc., and still have it make sense. The problem is that not all teachers raise awareness about formality and where using text talk is appropriate or not. If you're not already, use P-E-E-L when you answer your exam questions, make a Point, use Evidence by quoting the text to prove your point, Explain the quote and the point in more detail, and then Link it back to your question. It makes it look like you've written loads, teachers and examiners love it alike, and it provides a simple, yet versatile structure to pretty much anything.
