  2. How about put it on a post, and then edit it out once ive got it James
  3. It's fine mate.... I'm currently the youngest there at 16, so it will be good to have another youngster around. I'm more than happy to teach you a few things, as others did when first started. Ben Rowlands will be out (search for him on here) and maybe a few others. Have you got a mobile number so I can text you the location... I will PM you mine. James
  4. We are out most weekend days, and some weekdays....I possibly am out Saturday so you are welcome to join me, and there are a few others on Sunday. Just post on here the night before and see if anyone is around. Have a validation vote James
  5. Nice, might see if I can get down with a mate or two then Thanks James
  6. Weren't you out playing on the rocks a few weeks ago with rob at cumberland? Dude I swear anything is rideable for you (tree in your last mini vid)? I may be there, not sure though.... interested to see if there is a novice comp, as I would love to try one. Thanks James

  8. Just found this, has a few pics of the inside of the freewheel. James
  9. Ahh ok, this is useful stuff. One last quick question...I don't suppose there a video that someone could be kind enough to link for me Thanks you all greatly James
  10. I didn't get on with Hammerite at all...If I go with spraying then I will use Halfords I think. Yeah that's sensible.... How easy is the lacquer to remove? The plan is that I ride raw for a few weeks, and decide during that time whether I want to stay raw or spray her up. Thanks James
  11. This is fine. You will also need a bottom bracket as well mate. And a new rear cog and rear hub. But good luck with it all James
  12. I'm probably going to leave it raw, but a few coats of matte varnish wouldn't do any harm Thanks guys James P.S If I was to spray the frame, what spray paint is best? I've used Hammerite before, but didn't get on well with it
  13. ok awesome, thanks for that. Could you post a link, I cant find the wiki anywhere Thanks James
  14. Ok awesome, a quick google reveled they sell nitromorse at Halfords. Should I wait until it warms up, or will it still work in these minus conditions? Also do I need to lacquer it or not? Thanks James
  15. Ummm....Guys the Truvativ Husselfelt crank set is a 22 tooth mtb style crank set, with the chainring bolted on. For this guy to run a FFW he would have ro replace cranks, hub, rear sprocket, freewheel and bottom bracket The Truvative uses their own type of BB interface, so it isn't compatible with ISIS. Sorry mate, but to move to FFW you are looking at £150+ James
  16. Hey all, My the paintwork on my frame and forks is starting to look a little tired, so I have decided it is time to take it all off, and either leave them raw or spray them up. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what paint strippers I should use, and any tips. Also do I need to lacquer them afterwards or can I leave the metal bare. The frame set is an old Diamondback Kabuki Mono one, and I will attach a picture later and see what you guys think I should do In terms of spraying it, as at the moment I have no idea as to what color frame would go with my gold color scheme. Thanks guys James
  17. Ok just spoken t the parents, and I can't get in on friday. But any time in the weeks following I am on school holidays so if you wanna ride then then that'll be cool. James
  18. School has a half day that day so if I can get down I will. A few of us are put Saturday aswell if you're around mate. James
  19. Awesome riding Ben as always. My mate found this and showed me exclaiming "he had found another Danny Mac video I didn't have already!" Just goes to show how good you are. James
  20. Sorry mate, school and that makes weekdays a no go for me Will be out next weekend though if anyone is about. Thanks James
  21. Hey all, is anyone out riding Bristol tomorrow? Thanks James
  22. I've tried it but it hasn't worked :/ Just started getting them through from yesterdays updates, so guess its might be something with my email. Thanks for the help guys. James
  23. I had this. Just rebleed it and check the bleed bolts have been done up TIGHT. Was what was wrong, but may be different for you. Try taking apart the lever as above, and also check the fittings. Good luck getting it sorted. Hope I helped a little. James
