If your getting the Pure, you would have to change to isis. Integrated BB. Id strongly recommend the Trialtech Sport Cranks. Strong, good looking, full array of lengths to choose from and perfectly priced. You wont have a problem with threads stripping. Look at the beef Watson gives his. Also, Id run 18-15. With TT cranks you wont have a problem with cylinder clearance, and its a great gearing too. 175mm cranks, 18-15 gearing. Done.

Bike looks lovely <3 How are the Trialtech Pads performing for you? Curious

Anyone know of a decent machine shop around the keighley/ Leeds area? Brothers got a snapped axle and needs replacing and Ive seen Tarty dont stock replacement axles, so the only other Idea I had was to have one machined for him. Quick responses would be very helpfull. Cheers

Updated! Brakes back on, set up perfect. Rear brake is amazing and the Hopes also pretty darn good! Spec on request if interested, but its fairly self explanitory

Or buy a crank extractor anyway and save smashing marks into your cranks.......

Pads: Heatsink CNC Yellows Time used: Week Rim used: Echo TR 19" Grind: Yes. Harsh and Sharp Ceraminc: ? Brake used: Magura Hs33 05, 4 finger lever, water bleed, Echo CNC Clamps, Onze Ice 2 frame ( Built in booster ), Heatsink CNC Yellows What is your opinion of a working brake: Bites, Holds. Instantly How do they compare to previous pads you have used: These refills are pretty special. Review: Whacked in my refills as my old yellows went all horrible and worn, and these are pretty special. The compounds harder than usual on these pads, so I opted for a harsh grind. Theyve taken a little to bed in, but now they have they're incredable. Much better than the old refills and much louder! Little clip so you can hear and see the brake doing its thing!

Sound good. Might try them when I'm in need of some new pads. The original pads are awesome. I find it hard they could have improved them.
-
Your Phatpads should work fine. Whack a Diamond Cutting disc on your grinder, and give the rim a harsh sharp grind. Give your pads a quick scrub with some sand paper to remove any crap. Set it all up PERFECTLY square, and let them bed in. Phats are awesome when set up correctly.

Certainly have tried a limey Theyre nice frames, but I prefer the way the Ice rides
-
After giving them a go, Maguras up front are awesome, however I'm getting fed up of the noise and increased wear rate due to me having to ride to most locations. So Im moving to a Hope Mono Trial this Friday.

Fixed Not like I'm biased or anything......

Condsidering my old python was 1078wb, It could well have been. I know plenty. All you had to do was say it was stock, not judge my knowledge.

My first little video! I decided against having music in this video, as I couldnt seem to find one to fit the riding. Its nothing special, so dont expect massive riding. Will make a full street video soon! Here it is......

If I were you mate. Id choose the Ice. They're cheaper, but still look great and ride awesome. I love mine, but cant get on with my mate 320. Both ride really well, providing you get the right bar and stem combo. With my Ice, the Trialtech Sport stem and Trialtech High Rise bar compliment the Ice frame really well, with the bars angled in line with the angle of the stem. Best riding Mod Ive had/ tried. The integrated tensioning systm is miles better than snail cams too. One thing to look out for, If your running a 116mm spaced hub, both the Limey and the Ice run 110mm spaced dropouts. To eliminate chain rub on the inside of the seatstay, make sure you run a snail cam on the inside of the frame on the drive side. This pulls the chain away from the stays and stops the rubbing. That or buy the shortest BB you can get away with Both are great frames.

Theres a rear Try-All/ Hope brake in Rob. s for sale thread about a Koxx Sky for £90. Top quality

Trials has helped me with my overall strength and physical apearance massively. I was well on the portly side when I started, and I was pretty weak too. 3 years on, Im slender, I lost LOADs of weight and am now gaining weight due to my muscles developing and growing, and Im rather pleased with my appearance My forearms developed really quickly, as well as my shoulders, lats, Biceps and Triceps and pectoral muscles. My abs have taken longer to develop, but are slowly peeping through. My legs very quickly developed too. My calf muscles are much stronger and bigger, and my thighs did too. I barely ever do any weights, and do zero Gym time on Cardio. I do have a high metabolism though, and I ride pretty much whenever I can! Id definitely say trials is a good overall workout. Also has increased my stamina loads

Get a fresh set of Yellow refills. Grind your TR rim. Sharp Medium with a slitting disc. Set it up square (shouldnt be a problem as your going to be running TR clamps) Put the Booster on. Rebleed the brake to ensure there is no air at all in the system. Ride and have fun
