Hi Ali As far as I know the TT is over two weeks 1st Practice and then 2nd race week. Its free to spectate anywhere except if you want grandstand seats or other packages. Been over working there just before it all kicks off and the atmosphere was building. Was in the same hotel as the huge Honda squad a few years back. Its on my bucket list. Moto GP know nothing. PS book your ferry asap as its pretty hard to get places, we were lucky as we used the skybird from Glasgow.

Hi Team. British dates up now so here are my thoughts for this year. My calendar is pretty full with British, European and World dates with Aaron. Three weekends organising before the British/Scottish one. I know a few Scottish riders will be doing the British rounds this year which is great for the Scottish club. I can run 5 dates this year that dont run into killing me or time wise. So here goes: Rnd 1 23rd March Kirkliston Rnd 2 7/8th June joint British Scottish event venue TBD but date confirmed. Rnd 3 29th June Killin provisional Rnd 4 27th July Aviemore confirmed. Rnd 5 7th September. Kelso or Bob Macgregor I have venues listed below Kirkliston I have been working on new sections and talking with the rain gods. Bob Macgregor Kinlochleven good one for those that like a beer! Cockenzie rocks. (some new routes looked at) Killin. (need dry weather to run) New venue near Kelso that is used for bike trials in a quarry. I havnt been down to look, but as far as I have been told we are welcome and the owner has machines onsite to build sections as we require. So there you go guys, please feel free to comment on where you would like the dates to be apart from the two fixed ones. DEADLINE IS 9TH FEBRUARY OR I WILL DECIDE!!! My preferance would be: Rnd1 Kirkliston Rnd2 Fixed British Rnd 3 Kinlochleven Rnd 4 fixed Aviemore Rnd 5 Kelso or Bob Macgregor

There is a local club to me in Peebles that have a barn set up to teach kids trials run by very enthusiatic club members. They cant get insurance anywhere except like we do for comps. but that then gets very expensive if you ride alot. The council have a blanket liability insurance that covers parks and alike and some council back schemes up here piggy back onto that. BUT I have heard that it is only viable if you have a commercial venture as it can be into many tens of thousands. I have still not heard anyone that has a solution to this. Other than you bend yourself its your fault and take the risk? Good luck with it, it needs people like you and others to get these things going

I had one from new till a couple of years ago. Only thing left was the frame that was original, but the only thing that snapped was the swingarm. I replaced it all with a complete BETD back end and it made a huge difference to the way it rode. Everything else was just because it wore out. It is a light XC bike and therefore it was abit light weight for modern big built trails, but to go on bigger loops on original tracks and trails it was the best.

I always new he was Scottish and we have been teaching "McCarthy" and the "wee bugger" Scottish words and phrases all season long. It must be official now he is ours. He will still be an English world champion even now he is Scottish, so it doesn't really matter.

Great review of your year. Well done, hope to see you somewhere on the road next year. Aaron mentioned just UCI in 2014 for you.

Is the seat behind the bike a prototype option for you to try?

Everybody is at it. Banks waiting for monies to clear up to seven days, but it comes out your account instantly. Where is all that multi millions of pounds a day going. Same as above. Lawyers, how many people does their house buy/ sale go through without delay. multi millions sitting in the lawyers accounts on a constant rotation day in day out making interst. Government. Do you get fines and interest if they owe you money? Insolvency companys (personal experience) What is left in the company ie stock, money and debtors total always seems to add up to fees that these companies are due, no matter what funds are left. None of the creditors ever gets apenny. ( i havn't ever) I have seen hourly rates of +£800 from the big main company and £175 for the wee girl at the desk doing a stamp on a letter or directing a call. bet she doesnt get that in her wages. My theory is that the people who can make achange are the poloticians, that will finish their career to go onto the boards of these companies or to be paid!!! to lobby parliment to keep the law on these companies sides. So would you bite the hand that may feed you. Unfortunatly all of the above is legal, including massive tax avoidance, as the laws are set by these people. Thats why I never vote as no matter what there good intentions are, they only have there own interst at heart and if not then the big powers at be will make sure they have. Thats life just enjoy the good bits. PS was working on a PV install at a farm last week and the farmer gets £0.24 per supermarket bag of tatties he was telling me. Go see how much the supermarkets mark up to see corporate greed at work and the power they wield over the farming industry is outragous. (still to meet a poor farmer yet though) haha. Sunday rant over feel much better Tattie scone and bacon roll next then Scotland Vs South Africa this afternoon.

Whos Neil linniecliffe?? Not often impressed by the SETs but that was watched with jaw dropped. Great video.
-
Well done on a great video. You are better than you think. I prefer being able to see the section as well as some mega riding, rather than the close up of just the rider that seems to be the trend in videos and especially pictures. Ricks static up to back HUGE! Put the rest up.

And there is more but I lost the will to live.

I am not even going to ask about that freakyness. more than welcome anytime.

Question? you had your top aff at Killin and were on the yeti scale of hairy. How come that wee botty is smoother than a babies one. Do you shave and moisturise? still got both your cups at the house, need to meet up for a ride to hand them over.

Glad to see its getting used after all our hard work. Will have another comp there next year at their bike festival weekend. Hope to get up in the new year and start sorting some parts out. Nice we climb at the end cause that is steep. See you at some comps next year.

It must be the same as football here but without all the bigotry, racism and insane thuggery that blights the game here. Oh and hair care. But each to there own. South africa New Zealand game couple of weeks ago was one of the best, most intense sporting events I have ever watched. Why the govering body of Football do nothing about it is beyond me as in its purist form it is agreat game to play or watch. Love it when you get the "and what team do you support" question to which the reply is always just rugby. Their wee faces are apicture of complete surprise as the brain cells that cant compute.

Rugby all the way.

Put some on my sons bike for this year and although I cant remember where I got them (internet company) and they were not cheap ones, they have rounded heads ( I have very high quality allen keys) I also took a hacksaw to one and it went through it like a steel bolt. I am no specialist in metals but I thought it was very hard to cut or work titanium? Any that were constantly worked on (wheel bolts) just packed in pretty quickly. I will try some higher quality ones for next year but just to see if there is a difference.

We are up early but 11 is fine.

Thanks Ross. Time?

Thanks to everyone for a great end to the year event. It was a great layout of sections and the weather just made it. Looking forward to a few weeks off then we will be missing it and champing at the bit for next year to start. Probably not even a few weeks, got some new venues to go and survey for next year already. The Dukes -
