  1. Oli you're a short f**k anyway and you look about 20, go squat the moon. Unrelated news, 4th try at deadlifts and I lifted 140kg x3reps with perfect form, I did use a belt though, this was about 90minutes after I got to the gym and after 3sets of squats (100kg, 110kg, 120kg) and various other exercises so I was pretty worn out by then. Still happy with the result

  3. Work in a bike shop but it's pretty chill most of the time, i'd say I have a midbuild frame, barely sleep but on the plus I have a "eat everything I'm offered.. And more" mindset not sure on test levels to be honest but I'm only small time so there's not much point lookin that far Into it. Shopping in London tomorrow, just started week8 and medium sized shirts that fitted nicely before are now much too small for me :/

  5. Thanks to the fact my bag is more like a tent it means I can always carry at least 2spare tubes, puncture repair patches, a set of allenkeys + a multitool and some small spanners I'd recommend a tube and some tools.

  10. So your internal / external obliques have nothing to do with core? Your core is pretty much everything minus arms and legs.
  11. Just to say ghost rider, core does not = abs so of course ab exercises aren't going to be as good as heavy compounds.
  12. Deadlifts is predominantly lower back though, I find I use lower back when balacing but all my power comes from my lats / delts / traps.
  13. Muscle pain is DOMS (Delayed onset muscle something, no idea what the s actually stands for...) I get really tired too, it could be linked because you're using energy to repair the muscle, just eat more.

The owner of the shop I work in seems to think you guys are competition despite him not stocking anything trials, having no knowledge of trials (nor anything post-90's) and having had no one ask for trials gear. Store manager is a lot better though, he knows you guys aren't competitors so doesn't mind if I get parts delivered to work.
  15. Didn't like the TR 2011 lever so I've swapped it for a Maggy 2011 lever and its nice and stiff, more comfortable and isnt so strange looking.

Week 7 of having a gym membership, only 4/7 weeks have I actually trained properly, went completly nuts this week and I'm paying for it now Deadlift from 90-120kg Squat from 110-125kg Bench from 60-75kg Etc etc. Pretty much had constant doms from his week, my traps, lats and delts ache too and seeing as I never get doms in those areas i'd say it's a sign I've given them a proper work out. Anyone else's favourite day legs? Edit* I'm roughly 76kg, 5'8" and I had my bodyfat professionally checked about 4weeks ago 8%bf so I think my stats are quite good for now. Hoping to be 90-95kg @ 7-9%bf by next summer which I think is going to be near impossible unless I run a cycle (which I'm not).

  18. Might that be because its your booster? Stem feels nice, 150x30 is much nicer than 120x25. Going to have a Hope monotrial on the front tomorrow hopefully! Got a nice shiny dent in it too, f**king rails.

    Csc Rim Brakes

    Looks amazing. Resivoir on a rim brake though? Edit, read on the csc website that it auto adjusts to wear like a hydraulic disc.
  20. When I had dual disc (and finally got them working thanks to a hope service) it was amazing, I'd built my wheels rock solid and ran 25psi front + 20psi rear which on a mod used to be quite hard. It fell very solid and agile to me. Now on the 24" I'm starting to like Maggys although I'd still prefer a disc.
