Got an update guys. At work today, waterlooville halfords. Guy notorious for coming in to order expensive parts and not buy them comes up the stairs, I see him and smile (standard retail shit), he smiles back missing front tooth. I look at bike thinking that looks strange. Come back up from getting a bike from out back, deal with customer. Just me and co worker with no tooth man. I ask him if that bike is new to him, he says he got it about 2 days ago. It's that f**king red one with the f**ked up suspension. Jesus christ I was amazed.

One day it just clicked for me, about 2 years of trying them on rides and I could just suddenly do them. I can't do them outrageously far, about 50 meters or so I guess consistently. I found them easier to get on a very slight downhill, but it gets scarier as you go faster. Like the others said, low low low low.
