  1. Looks like a pretty clean over-take to me. Ive seen it abroad where lorries would overtake other lorries, and you could see that there was oncoming traffic
  2. I know its properly not much use, but ive got a 120x17 trialtech stem if it's any use to you?
  3. Yeah, was thinking of getting some.
  4. Where did you get them? looks pretty sweet!
  5. Nothing like seeing your new power hasnt gone to your head...
  6. Just was using it as an example
  7. i can see the reasoning behind it, otherwise you could buy a new set of forks and snap them every 5 months, therfore havea lifetime supply... But it does seem naff though, if you snap a set in 5 months and get them replaced, then the next snap in just over a month, they wont replace it :/
  8. Your warrenty only counts from original purchase date, i clearly got told this by tarty.
  9. Refering to the steer tube length? If so, thats plenty
  10. I Think and dont quote me on this, but i remeber seeing a failure rate of something like 3 in 1000 or 3000 for one of their batches?
  11. James may says something like this, that its fun to drive a shit car 100% everywhere, with skinny tyres that might kill you at any moment. I never knew what he meant till i drove my citroen on 155's
  12. I'm quite happy to agree with anyone who proves me wrong apart from you but.... Surely you dont need that much camber? As far as i've learnt, the lower profile the tyre, and the stiffer the suspension, the less negative camber you need due to less body and tyre roll?
  13. Awesome riding as per usual, but can see that crack from here
  14. Whats the best (strongest) way to terminate a throttle cable? Mine snapped, and i brought a new one from motor factors, but it looks like they only do a 'universal' one. The kit comes with a screw block style end, but im currently using one of these atm (with 2 screws) and that's slipping through, so i cant see the one in the kit doing anything.
  15. My only claim to fame, not a photographer at all, but i was so happy with this. I startled it a bit as i russeled the leaves (explains the tail) but i think it makes it look so much better
  16. I think that's broken Its a shame how they've made massive long flanges for the bearings to sit agaisnt, and a skinnny center section. You think if they machined more off before the flanges, they could make the center section thicker, so you'd have the same weight axle but stronger
  17. I had to brace mine against the floor, and use a hand held sledge to get it out. as long as you support the hub when you're hitting the axle you'll be fine.
  18. its generally easier to hit it through the other side, you just gotta make sure the two parts of the axle are agaist each other where they are broken to push it through.
  19. not a blind 'faq' though Anyway, to the OP. sounds like ur axle is snapped, if you can move one side independant to the other. The axle will come out, you just need to be brave andgive it an almighty hit. You say your using a mallet, do you mean a rubber one? rubber will absorb the shock, so you need to use a metal hammer.
