  1. Rain king / mud king? would be similar in weight/ puncture proof.
  2. Sometimes its the simple things that make you laugh, like you cat crawling into your sub box
  3. i've had it before where ive had to jack the car up, take the wheel off and beat the drum free with a hand help lump
  4. I cant really tell whether thats RC or not
  5. But surely a force gauge doesn't cost that much? that way you'd be able to measure how much force is being applied, how much the material deflects and what the force is when it breaks?
  6. Love how if it is Magura who produced the video, you'd think they'd have more scientific testing equipment rarther then just a heavy weight in a tube
  7. i got the impression that it was a kers system using compressed air?
  8. This. leave the engine on the subframe, unbolt the subframe and pick the bodywork off the engine/subframe. easily done with 2 people
  9. yeah, its the ecu controling how much power goes to the wheels, depending on how much the wheel speed varies to the actualy vehicle speed. yet another proof of electronic controling the car when the driver should be...
  10. Redruff! Me and Mark Wells are riding there tomorrow. Anyone intrested in joining us?
  11. At least im in control of the 58bhp of diesel powered snarling death! Regardless of the car, i dont think its a drivers car if theres a computer there to control the traction/brake lock, ect....
  12. Launch control means you cant control the traction with your skill of throttle/clutch control, so if anything, launch control is anything but manly!
  13. I ran massive spacers on the rear of my mini, and drove it bloody hard with no issues. The studs are micky mouse thin aswell. Think i ended up running: Spaced drums (1 1/4") 3/4" spacers and a couple mm shims. and the studs were 86mm long, looked like boadicean wheel spikes
  14. fair play. Its not that obvious from the pictures :$ well price depending,it'll be on my want list
  15. Generally, more surface area gives you more hold and the more/larger holes in the disk gives you more bite. That's what ive always been led to believe.
  16. I like that manafacturers are bring out new designs/products, but why no split clamp?
  17. Shame no-one got a picture of Joe McGrew ontop of a very flexable plastic bin!
  18. i don't use much software so 60gb is just enough for me. Yes ssd's do have a lifespan but depending on usage, mines been going faultless for a couple of years now. I dont know how long an ssd would last for you, but considering you seem competent enough to install OS's and stuff, you'd be refreshing your hardware in a few years anyway
  19. If you read through the comments, some people find they get less arm pump from v-brakes
  20. I currently run 60GB ssd for Os and software, and 2TB Caviar black for music, videos, ect. 60Gb is pretty small for an ssd, i'd go for at least 80 if i was you. It depends if you're looking for the performance of an SSD, or just looking to run two hard drives?
  21. Get some proper pictures up, and details of how it's been done then
  22. The superchargers from bmw mini's pretty much fall on, and you can buy the manifolds/kits made up
