  1. Mark W, Will tarty be selling the brake clamps separately? Could you use your own 2 bolt brake booster on it, or does the extra length cause tyre clearance problems?
  2. Advent 8212. Full size laptop, cd drive 12" screen. 1.8ghz dual core, i upgraded mine to 4gb. Did me well through college/uni, until i snapped the screen :L
  3. Coming from the guy with him/some guy naked in his display picture
  4. *cough* maggie mounts with built in booster
  5. Yeh laim, your not preloading anywhere near as enough
  6. Yeh, oiling up the slave cyclinders stopped them sticking 3dd, yeh, ive spent ALOT on it pretty much got it how i want it
  7. After oiling up the rear cyclinders, thought id slap up a picture on here Feel free to comment
  8. Yeh, i just notised that on Echo's website
  9. Its an SL :L But yeh, Echo SL 108, without a doubt
  10. Get some new axel bolt washers? mine are splined, so they bite into the frame, preventing them from moving
  11. I think what he's refering to is the extra 1.5mm travel is the frame flexing after the pads have hit the rim
  12. Right Liam: 1 - Stop getting so F****** good its not like we all got bespoke, flood lit trials sections in our front garden 2 - Where did you steal the tyres from? 3 - ride soon?
  13. In the video, what frame is he riding? Looks like it has a stupidly high bb, must be like riding a pogo stick
  14. I went from an old 05 pro to a 2010 onza blade. Nice high bb, disk brake, hs11 rear rim brake. They are great bikes to improve your riding skills on. Davidbarr is right, steel bars (670ish grams) steel forks (1.3kg) but, it uses an ally stem which is light. The only other bad points is i've already cracked one of these frames as it doesn't have a built in brake booster (even when running a bolt on brake booster) They are incredible to ride, buy it, then buy new bars/forks at a later date
  15. Most mod riders go for maggie on the rear, disk on the front. You still can get from a to b without annoying everyone, a decent disk is plenty on the front, and a decent setup maggie on the rear. You gotta remember, your going to be more prone to hitting/bending a disk on the rear sidehopping :/
  16. Medium Grind, Heatsink cousts. Amazing bite and hold, last for a year +
  17. 6ft-midget - don't get me wrong, its an incredible brake, especially considering it only cost me £100 new. The only thing is i've had a few times, like when your trying to stop on your front wheel, where it hasn't provided enough braking force. You know, the whole point of asking is to see what you think, and if you've had experience of the rotor being s***, then i wont consider buying one Do you prefer any rotor over the stock hope mono one?
  18. Ive got a hope tech trial front disc brake, and was thinking of going over to Rockman superlight disc. What's your opinion of the Rockman disc? Have any of you used it, and does it give better braking performance over the standard hope disc?
