  1. Its not about being "cheap" many trials riders perfer water because it is less viscous, giving a lighter feel
  2. Saddles? im so cheap i havnt even got one
  3. To answer your original question, its never worth buying cheap. When i first started trials on an old tbird, i used a bmx freewheel, and snapped them every 2 weeks. A freewheel which slips will always make u less confident with your bike. Ive never had my echo sl slip (and i bet everyone who's had one, will agree with me). i wouldnt buy any other freewheel Woth every penny of the £60
  4. i think its to stop the outter edge of the freewheel rubbing against the bashring, as the width of the bashring is the same all the way around.
  5. lesbians are dickheads and are sexually mad?
  6. Echo dont manafacture the 90 or so click freewheel any more. its literally just 108 click steel or titanium
  7. long story short, echo renamed their range. the titanium one is the echo SL, and the steel one is the TR. Tarty havnt updated this
  8. tyre pressure is rider preferance. im quite heavy, so i like a fairly high tyre pressure. a decent tyre (with a thick sidewall, like the try all sticky) will help prevent this, and thicker inner tubes will aswell
  9. Lever modified, fits a treat. been for a ride and its spot on. I think the tpa pin is longer, so i should have more adjustment. Pictures on facebook because i couldnt be bothered to compress pictures, blah blah blah http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=469927&id=728430226&l=4506577864 Anyone know where i can get the brass/bronze bushes?
  10. Yeh my lever fits, i just need to drill a hole so i can fit the grub screw to hold the pin in I should beable to get pictures up tomorrow
  11. I recently got an Echo sl back brake, everythings been going hunky dory so far. I notised where the tpa shaft goes through the lever, theres alot of damage. (looks like the flat edge which is ment to prevent the shaft from turning has been wearing away at the lever). I was wondering is it as straight forward as drilling and tapping an hs33 lever (where the bolt goes through) and fitting it? I did a test fit tonight and it looks like it will work Also, does anyone know if/where you can buy the brass bushes that are fitted to the SL body? Me being fussy, but mine are worn and i'd like to change them
  12. Lying in my sleeping bad, slowly nodding off..... KABOOM! *shits himself*
  13. Takes the phrase "Go big or go home" to a whole new level....
  14. Deodrant. Does the same as hairspray i guess. Laurence--Trials, i tock mine off last night by prying the grip away from the bars with a small screwdriver, and spraying deodrant down the gap. Did this both ends of the grip, and it slid straight off
  15. Simpson scared the crap out of me!
  16. Amazing frame great geo, light frame but still strong. Ive had no problems with rear hubs
  17. Something like forteh's display picture?
  18. The Reset Titanium's snap...... easily Theres a Post on TF somewhere where the ISIS splines completly sheered of Poor casting or something
  19. Carbon front wheel? F*** that!
  20. I know what you mean. I might just have to get my good friend Alex Dark to machine me a set
  21. Well, theres you could say if its great or not, but its even more useful saything theres another product out there, excally the same retail price that is even better.
  22. Like someone said on here, riders are like 8-14 ect stone, ur bike weighs under a stone. If you throw your weight across a gap, your bikes going to follow. Thats why I can gap and you can't, because im a fat basterd
