A lot of interesting debates on trials forum, liking it! I dont really know enough about global warming to be able to form my own opinion, earth is warming up, tidal currents changing etc etc that is fact... The unsure thing is a reason why. I think some people are getting confused about bits of information they hear and just stringing them together, saying the torries created it is a laughable statement, they merely exploited it - get it right. I dont think it takes a scientist to realise pumping out masses of co2 and reducing the things that rely on it (ie trees/plants/plankton!) is a great idea.... to what extent who knows.

wires go from amp to the +/- on the crossover as if they were a speaker terminal.. from the crossover you have 2 cables (+/-) going to the speaker and 2 (+/-) to the tweeter. so you need cables from headunit/amp to crossover, then cables from there to tweeter AND speaker.

disagree, play around with the tools, press all the buttons and even use the filters, follow some online tutorials and you'll get an understanding of how you can manipulate things to suit what you want, I dont think a book will teach you any more than an hour or two following some tutorials.. Just play around, see if you can make something cool... Brushes are definatly a key area though!

I dont want to start this dibate on yet another forum... but buying a copy of photoshop doesnt make you any better at using it than downloading it. Can people stop assuming they are somehow more talented because they bought a copy.

Half the battle of being a designer, in particular web work.. Is explaining/convincing clients that there ideas are not really very good, but you need to be able to offer alternatives and reasoning behind it.

I agree about the music industry and yes, the same applies in every industry - The trouble with the graphics side of things is that people employing "designers" to do work from them dont know any better, My dads company paid thousands for this peice of shit.. http://www.nlhlaw.co.uk/site/home/ - he showed me and I laughed.. A Professional company made that and it has about 800 errors on w3c alone :/ I've seen lots of work of a similar standard come from degree students.
