  1. Halfords, great quality for the price.
  2. It doesn't feel too high, the stem might move about the stackers though after a couple of rides to get it just right. Just from riding about town yesterday is feels so light and chuckable compared with my Five. A bit more back to basics.
  3. Went for a little ride and took some better photos* *well photos outside and not in a basement!
  4. http://www.hopetech.com/team/ At the bottom. Also, just saw this via Dirt
  5. I had to read that a couple times...punctuation can really help sometimes. Unless you are going to a Spanish speaking orgy?
  6. I think Hope are still looking after him though, going by their newly updated website anyway. As said intro was pretty cool but the riding didn't seem as special as his other videos.
  7. So, found the cause of my audio issues a few pages back. (If anyone cares! Probably not, haha) Seems the rear windscreen washer is leaking somewhere in my tailgate... Seems the amp got a little damp! There was a pool of washer fluid in this area...all dry for now. I'm not sure where exactly it is leaking from, I'm going to do some more investigating this weekend now I've removed the amp and base speaker. Does anyone know which side of the car the washing fluid line is on?
  8. So after having the frame sitting in a cupboard for six months I've finally built up a dreamy hardtail. Sorry boys. Had a quick blast around the block. Lovely, only weighs around 10kg!
  9. Bit of a head scratch this morning. No sound from any of the speakers this morning. Was working fine yesterday. Audi A4 Avant B6 from 2004. Any one with experience of Audi sound systems?
  10. Pulled my Skye apart to steal the crankset until a new set arrives, no tuna needed!
  11. Bought the wrong bloody cranks...83mm BB shell instead of the 73mm I needed. Building new hardtail will have to wait until next week. Had the whole weekend free too!
  12. Halford's Pro range is really rather good. Break anything, and as long as you still have the receipt, they were replace it there and then. I think they might be on special offer at the moment too.
  13. Cause I'm very 'Special'...
  14. Usually they just bypass the meter, stops leccy companies calling the police!
  15. Drug farms are mad. I've seen pictures of a pub in Edinburgh, in Leith, that have two massive cellars rammed full of weed plants with an estimated value upwards of £250k. A chinese man was living in a wee room by the cellars looking after them all. The pub above was running as normal, it must of stunk. Yet the people running the pub said they had no idea it was happening...
  16. + So if I strap one to each foot I should be okay then?
  17. Makes sense. The only issue I see is the board being able to create a strong enough field to carry the weight of the rider plus the weight of the battery. I suspect batteries that light weight and that powerful don't exist yet, or are in some top secret government lab/evil lair in a volcano somewhere. Edit: http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/hoverboard.asp Near the bottom!
  18. Why don't you briefly explain it for us simpletons. Also, I can't watch the videos as I'm at work...
  19. There seems to be a lever on the left side of the handlebar, plus a cable going in to the seatpost. Is it just me or does it look like a ladies bike? Or is that just because 29"?
  20. Also new profile picture gives me the giggles!
  21. Please turn up though! Often people enter a guilty plea when they hear a witness against them has turned up, effectively wasting your morning/afternoon but saving time in the long run. Wear a suit and tie.
  22. Yeah, I bent the short end near the hub but perhaps, like you say, stupidly removed the longer part that was attached to the nipple. Weight saving and all that! Sadly I only snapped it when I lazily hit the rear wheel off a kerb... I'm blaming it on the newly intalled Saints, so much stopping power it's pulling the bike apart! The whole bike needs a bit of TLC though.
  23. Cheers, I was going to have a play with it tonight. Thought my hub was disintegrating from the tinkling sound it was making before remembered that I had removed a spoke not 20 minutes before. I think I'm getting old!
  24. What is with Brad and his friends? In other news, went out on my Skye for the first time in about 4 months. I'm totally out of shape, plus I snapped a spoke and there is now a nipple rattling around my rim.
