I suppose when they are super dry you could get some masonry paint and paint them adding some sand on top? No idea if that would work mind...

Using a trundle wheel was the highlight of primary school science lessons!

He's a nice guy and we generally get on well. He's just a bit odd at times, set in his ways kind of thing. I'll get the trundle wheel out tonight...not massive maybe closer to 15m, the bedrooms are just at opposite ends of the flat rather than being next door to each other.

Basically because he has so much crap. The spare room is just full of junk. Same could be said about all my bike bits though... Never heard anything actually, the bedrooms are about 15-20 metres away from each other...plus rent is about £60/month

Power went out in my flat last night. The consumer unit is on the out we think, it is over 20 years old and nothing significant has been added or changed on the load on the unit... My flat mate, soon to be brother-in-law, is also being a right fanny. 3-4 years ago me, my sister and her boyfriend moved into a flat, all was good. I got one bedroom they got another. We all agreed that the boyfriend should get the spare room off the downstairs lounge so he had some space to himself, he took over the lounge too but I didn't really care at the time. My sister moved out two years ago to work in Glasgow. He stayed in the city for work. Now my girlfriend has been living in the flat for about 8 months we have one room and he has three. He hasn't been downstairs in the lounge or his 'spare' room for more than a few hours in the last two years. I've asked him a few times to clear out the 'spare' room and he said he's too busy to do it until after the wedding in July. Yet he has time to go skiing yesterday and then fanny about in the flat the rest of the day. fanny fanny fanny

Trying to run Minecraft is just a bit of a sidebar really, it'll probably just be a bit of an experiment! As far as I am aware Synology runs with a Linux based OS and can run various apps so not just a hard drive.

It would really be a closed server that only I would be on rather than an open one with 10+ players on.

The link kinda confirmed that what I was wanting to do was the right thing, I'm thinking I might be RAIDing it to so it explained all of that clearly. I just need to spend a day looking at all the specs. I'm wanting something with a bit of ram, or at least upgradeable in the future so I can run a few things from it, including Minecraft...

I had a quick look at microserver but I just don't want to built it really, lazy perhaps. Built my own PC which was easy enough but with storage I just want to plug it in and have it up and running without worrying about installing an OS etc.

So, bascially I'm out to buy a NAS to be my main storage location (with back-ups!) in my flat. I thinking about a Synology one as they review pretty well and the OS looks pretty polished. Around the £500 mark I'm thinking. Does anyone on here run one? Any advice or recommentations? Any issues with the NAS working with both OSX and Windows at the same time?

My opinion, do what you feel is right. If you go when you think back about him one of the first things you'll see is his dead body laying there. My mother died in 2012 after about a month in hospital, after being by her side at her last moments and subsequently being in and out of her room in the following couple of hours she looked completely different and empty of life. When ever I think of my mother is picturing her laying on the hospital bed. Although not a shocking image it's not what one you really want in your head. Although she looked 'peaceful' she wasn't full of life as she was when she was living - if that makes sense? Obviously funeral homes make dead people look better, but although I had the opportunity to see her there I didn't feel the need.

Turn blanks into N/As in the raw data? N/As should be ignored, I think, so you can just use Jason's original formula. Select the raw data, hit Ctrl+G, select blanks, then type N/A and hit Ctrl+Enter.

Screw you Matt and your obsession with snappy frames! But yeah as Matt has said, Oranges are 'great' but they have their drawbacks too. I'd advise to get something more 'modern'. That being said I think I'll alway keep my Five but maybe buy another full sus to be it's stablemate.
